At the lobby of Bellenuite Tower in Bloomington.

Chad brought lunch for his wife, Matilda Sachs. Dressed casually, he stuck out like a sore thumb in an opulent setting.

Bellenuite Group was a cosmetic brand set up by Matilda, who was exactly Chad's wife. It was worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

"Hey, you're here! Sign this!"

A lady stood in front of Chad, blocking his way. She had fine makeup on and a voluptuous body. Her cleavage turned many heads.

It was Jojo Fonsey.

She went to college with Chad and Matilda. Back then, she was Matilda's best friend and now, she became her secretary.

Jojo looked at Chad with contempt as she flung an agreement to him.

Chad was shocked and confused by her actions. He held the agreement in his hand. "What's this?"

Slowly, the smile on Chad's face disappeared.

It was a divorce agreement!

Chad gazed at Jojo coldly and snarled, "Jojo! This is too much!"

Jojo urged impatiently, "I'm not joking. Hurry up! Ms. Sachs is waiting for me!"

Taken aback, Chad stared at the agreement in disbelief. He did not understand why Matilda filed for divorce.

He met Matilda in college. It was when she first started her business.

Chad swept Matilda off her feet with his gentleness. After graduating from college, they got married and it was three years since.

After getting married, Chad gave up all he had and lived a simple, solitary life. He spent his days taking care of Matilda.

"Why?"

"What do you mean why?!" Jojo looked at Chad in disdain and said heartlessly.

"Look at Matilda! She's the founder of Bellenuite Group, an outstanding entrepreneur in Bloomington."

"Many handsome, young, and rich are going after her. Now look at yourself!"

"You're a loser who hasn't made a penny after three years of marriage. Do you think you're worthy to be Matilda's husband?"

Those words hit Chad's nerves. He looked up while suppressing his rage to maintain composure.

During his college years, Chad had the attention of many women. However, he chose Matilda.

He thought Matilda was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

After marrying Matilda, he became a house husband so that Matilda could focus on her business.

Unfortunately, he made all the sacrifices in return for a divorce agreement!

Watching Chad hesitantly hold the agreement, Jojo took out a bank card and sneered.

"Stop pretending. Didn't you marry Matilda for her money? Here's 1.4 million dollars. Sign this and the money will be yours."

Chad lowered his head as he uttered, "Tell Matilda to see me if she wants me to sign this. You don't represent her. I want to hear her say it to my face!"

Jojo was infuriated. From the start of Matilda's business, she was her right-hand man.

On paper, she was known as Matilda's secretary. To everyone else, she was Matilda's authorized representative.

Anyone who wanted to collaborate with Bellenuite Group would have to please her and fawn over her.

When Chad claimed that she did not represent Matilda, it struck her nerves.

"F*ck! How dare you tell Matilda to see you! She's absolutely disgusted with you!

Look clearly! Matilda has signed the papers. Doesn't that say enough?"

Immediately, Chad's mind turned blank. He stared at the handwriting that he was familiar with, hoping it was just a dream.

Chad was aware that Matilda's business boomed over the past three years and her status became extraordinary.

Chad still thought he could match up to Matilda. Sadly, he thought wrong.

He was the only one who thought so, and Matilda.

"Yeah! She's a goddess now, all high and mighty. She doesn't even want to see me now."

Chad's discontent and rage soon turned into frustration, leaving him breathless.
