PROLOGUE

(Yvonne's Point Of View)

My head was throbbing in pain as if I was struck by a heavy object the moment I woke up. Umupo ako at marahan na hinilot ang sumasakit kong sintido. It was really hard for me to open my eyes and everything was blurry but when a minute had passed, my eyes were finally able to adjust.

"Aray ko naman!" I groaned as I took a deep breath. Bakit ba ang sakit ng ulo ko? I feel dizzy and my body feels weird. I'm sure that I never felt this before and it feels uncomfortable. Ano ba kasi ang nangyayari? I need to call my best friend and ask him to buy me a medicine for this annoying headache.

Muli akong huminga nang malalim para makapag-isip ng tama. I tried to reach my phone on the bedside table and I was surprised when I realized that my table wasn't there. Kumunot ang noo ko sa pagtataka at linibot ang buong silid.

My eyes widened when I noticed that I'm not in my room. I let my eyes wander around the place and everything is unfamiliar. White wall, green furnitures and large place--- where the hell am I?

Marahan kong ipinikit ang mga mata ko at kinagat ang ibabang labi ko. I tried to recall everything happened last night and my mind exploded like a bomb when I remembered something.

I was with my friend and we were drinking and dancing at the bar. We were having our fun night because I wanted to forget the pain that my asshole ex boyfriend gave me. Linoko ako ng lalaking mahal ko kaya pinabayaan ko ang sarili kong magwalwal kasama ang kaibigan ko.

I could remember that I turned a little wild last night and my best friend, Dexon, had a hard time calming me down. Parehas kaming lasing na dalawa at pareho kaming hindi pwedeng mag-drive kaya tumuloy muna kami sa isang malapit na hotel para magpalipas ng gabi.

But when we entered this hotel room, I felt very hot and husky. I wasn't in my right mind. I unconciously forced Dexon to kiss and touch my body. Sinubukan niya akong pigilan, but I did things that made him turn on. I kissed him, I took off his clothes and I seduced him. I touched his body and he gave up. We did it. I made love with my... Best friend?

"Fvck!" malakas kong untag nang maalala ang buong pangyayari. Gusto kong sampalin ang sarili ko! "Fvck! What have I done!?"

My lips trembled as I looked at my body. I'm completely naked and I could feel something weird down there! Nanlalaki ang mga mata ko habang dahan-dahang lumingon sa gilid ko. I saw Dexon who's also naked and he's sleeping peacefully. Mas nanlaki ang mga mata ko at halos malaglag na ang mga ito.

"Ahhhh!" I screamed my lungs out when I realized what happened. I can't believe that I did it with the person I treat as a brother! I've been with Dexon since childhood at hindi ko inaasahan na mangyayari ang bagay na ito!

Panicking because of my loud scream, Dexon woke up and sat up. Sobrang nataranta siya dahil bigla siyang ginising ng sigaw ko. He looked at me worriedly as if he's asking what the hell has gotten on my mind to shout like a crazy woman.

"Yvonne! Why are you screaming early in the morning!?" nagtatakang tanong niya.

I felt my blood rushing to my cheeks when I saw his face. Palagi ko naman nakikita ang walang hiya niyang mukha pero simula nang nangyari kagabi ay parang hindi ko na makakayang tingnan siya sa mga mata.

"Gag*! A-Anong ginawa mo saakin!?" Malakas ko siyang sinipa, dahilan para malaglag siya sa sahig. But it was a wrong move dahil natanggal ang kumot na nagtatakip sa katawan niya dahil sa ginawa ko. "Ahh! Manyak!" I screamed again when I saw his naked body.

Kumunot ang noo niya. Mukhang handa na sana siyang sigawan ako pero nanlaki ang mga mata niya nang mapansing pareho kaming walang saplot. He finally remembered what happened last night and his cheeks became crimson red. Sa sobrang gulat niya pa ay napaatras siya at tinakpan ang bibig niya.

"F-Fvck!" malakas niyang mura.

"Yes! Fvck! We fvcking did it, idiot!" I roared and pulled the blanket up to my neck with my both hand.

Series of profanity escaped on his lips while he's still looking at me in disbelief. Gusto kong umiyak at magwala dahil sa nangyari. I can't believe that we both lost our virginity to each other! Pumunta ako kagabi sa bar para makalimot ng problema pero ngayon ay nagkaroon ako ng mas mabigat na problema!

"C-Calm down, Yvonne. We can talk about this--"

"There's nothing to talk about now! Nagawa na ang nagawa! Let's just forget what happened last night!"

"How am I going to forget? Yvonne, I am a man and I should take responsibility," he uttered with sincerity. Umiwas ako ng tingin habang mabilis siyang nagbibihis.

"Yvonne, let's start going out. I will marry you--"

"Parehas tayong wala sa isip kagabi and besides, I am the one who's at fault. I seduced you..." Mas namula ang pisnge ko matapos kong sabihin iyon. "We were drunk and that night was a whole mistake. Hindi ko hihingin ang responsibilidad na sinasabi mo. I know that you're a man and you know how to take responsibilities but you know that the two of us together will be impossible together. Best friend tayo at parang magkapatid na ang turingan natin sa isa't isa. You are a star, maaring masira ang reputasyon mo dahil saakin."

He shook his head to disagree. "My reputation isn't important compared to you. You know that! At ano naman kung mag-best friend tayo? There's still a possibility that we can grow romantic feelings for each other once we date," He's still trying to convince me but I have to say no.

Marriage with him? I can't see that happening! Dexon is a famous actor and he's still rising. Bawal pa nga siya magkaroon ng girlfriend, eh. Asawa pa kaya? And besides, we're still 23. Bata pa kami at pareho kaming gustong marating sa buhay. Fresh graduates pa nga kami mula sa college, eh!

"You also like someone else at hindi pa ako nakaka-move on sa ex boyfriend ko. We can't marry each other because of a mistake that we never wanted to happen." I uttered as I lowered my head.

Dexon was lost of words. Nanatili rin kami nang ilang minuto habang tahimik na nakatitig sa kawalan. I thought that he won't speak again, but he really did.

"I will make you fall in love with me." he muttered, making me surprised and shocked. Magsasalita pa sana ako pero natigilan ako nang makita kung gaano siya kaseryoso. "Hindi ako papayag na hindi ko mapakasalan ang babaeng nakasama ko sa kama. I might like someone else for now but my feelings for her will surely fade soon, lalo na't may nangyari saating dalawa. And about your feelings for your ex boyfriend, I can wait for you to heal. I'll stay by your side even if I have to give up my career. As I said, you are more important than everything, Yvonne." he said with finality. Mabilis siyang nagbihis at nauna nang umalis sa hotel.

Every words that escaped on his lips sounds sincere. Mukhang wala nang makapagbabago sa isip niya.

'Yon ang huli niyang sinabi bago siya umalis ng hotel.

Nasabunutan ko ang sarili ko. I know that Dexon is a kind of guy who will do that. He's always a gentleman pero hindi ako papayag sa gusto niya. I know he likes someone else and I can't let him abandon his love just for me. Alam ko rin na sobrang mahal niya ang trabaho niya kaya hindi ako papayag na masira 'yon.

I will leave the country to hide myself from him. It will take time but I'm sure that he will forget what happened between us someday.

Tatakas ako sa kanya para protektahan ang career na mahal na mahal niya at para hindi niya na kailanganin pang kalimutan ang totoong babaeng gusto niya. Everything will be alright then.

Well, that was what I thought.

Pumunta ako sa England nang hindi niya nalalaman. But a month after I got there, isang bagay ang tuluyan nang nagpabago sa buhay ko.
