After Levi's parents left, Levi returned to what he was before their visit, leaving her alone in the house he had left for his date with Fiona. Lila felt her phone ringing, and when she took it out of her pocket, she was shocked to see that it was her mom calling. She was not in the mood for any back and forth with the woman, so instead of getting the call, she ignored it, and the calls stopped after a while. The house was too quiet for Lila to spend the rest of the night there, so she decided that the best thing to do was to go out.

"Jas wants to go out?" Lila said over the phone to her best friend.

"Tonight couldn't have been more perfect; let's go out," Jasmine replied, causing Lila to feel some kind of relief. She was worried her friend would turn her down, and then she would have to spend the entire Saturday night all alone at home sulking about things she could not control.
