182 Pure Coldness

Willa's POV

I woke up feeling sour all over.

With my last shred of clear memory being Taran snuggling beside me with his length still in my core, I had the best sleep ever in years.

"Evening, little one." Taran's husky voice rose when my soul was still floating around. The shade of raucity in his voice indicated the ardent exercise earlier. I yawned lazily, enjoying the perfect moment of waking up beside him.

"Am I in heaven?" I grinned at my mate, sniffing his soothing scent. Have you ever heard any thunderstorm being soothing? Here it is.

"Well I certainly hope not!" Taran laughed, leaving a light peck on my lips, "But heaven lost its allure to me when you are not there."

I snuggled into his arms more as he rose his chin to take me in. His trust toward me rose guilt in me for what I was about to do--

I bit him on his shoulder.

"Ahh." Taran "screamed" with a too calm tone to give assaulters like me any satisfaction whatsoever, "I'm sure I did something wrong, but please do enl
