"See me as soon as you can," Greg had beckoned to me while I cleared the table after breakfast that morning.
Not like the in-house chefs couldn't clean up after us, it was just my way of getting things off my mind that morning.
After I had wiped the table dry, I dropped the napkin against its hanger with a low sigh then looked up to see Mrs. Adama smiling warmly at me, her fingers intertwined and hanging in front of her, against the face of her flowery apron.
I wasn't ready for whatever she had up her sleeves this morning, so I forced a smile back, walking past her towards the stairs.
I heard her sigh softly behind me and I think she had said something, but I didn't care.
Broken, disappointed and desperate for a way out of how dejected and rejected I was feeling at the moment, I made my way to the only room on the ground floor — my father in-law's.
I was sure he wasn't in the sitting room, he hadn't gone out — his bedroom being the only other place he could be.
I didn't even bother to knock — it would be easy to defend myself since he was the one that asked for me. Pushing the door through, I allowed myself in, shocked at how transformed the room now looked.
In my two years of living under Eddison Langford's roof as a stay at home wife, I had toured every corner of the mansion and I could still remember how neatly empty the same room looked.
I didn't know when but it had gotten a complete refurbishment — it looked bigger, better, more like a mansion in a mansion.
It spoke volumes of the kind of man Gregory Langford was — wealthy from the roots, the kind that shows even in his absence.
I scanned the room with my eyes again, for probably the tenth time since a few minutes ago, getting lost in the luxury of every single item sitting in there, my eyes finally falling on the bed and refusing to leave.
I wasn't sure what happened, but a ball of warmth sprawled from my stomach, spreading fast across my body.
The thoughts formed quickly before I was able to do anything to stop them — Eddy wouldn't mind if I was sucking his father's d*ck after a breakfast that was more of how he cared less about demeaning me to dust, and forcing me to gobble up with a smile.
Heat gathered up fast between my legs, my heart beating faster than when I came in.
I was a second from turning around and walking through the door —I was getting aroused by mere thoughts and I was too upset at Eddy to give a damn about his feelings at the moment.
I was upset at the world for dealing me a life that weighed me down everyday. I knew I would choose myself if the objection wasn't strong enough, and choosing myself would be obliging fully to my imaginations.
The bathroom door creaked open, and Greg walked out of it with a towel over his face and upper body, his hands working fast at getting his hair dried.
I froze in my position, my eyes flickering with the movement of his fingers against the towel and his silvery hair, wondering if this was a chance to finally sneak out that door.
I was still trying to make a decision when the towel fell from his face — my lips fell apart, moisture drying up quickly down my throat.
Greg looked like a different person — transformed from what I had pictured in my head.
His lightly tanned body was damp and bare with just a pair of black boxer briefs clasped around his waist, doing nothing to help get my eyes off his groin protruding in front like a loaded gun waiting to be fired.
His body was built like that of an athlete — strong muscles, wide chest and albs defined like none that I had ever seen. I wondered if what the internet said about him being a retired boxer was true.
I was struggling to keep my composure and not pounce on him, but my eyes were already sizing his c*ck and testing the firm of his chest.
I swallowed, forcing my glands to secrete saliva.
"Oh, you're here."
He had said it casually like he wasn't aware of what he bore and how useless it could render an onlooker.
I opened my mouth to say something, but no word came. I closed it, then swallowed again, pulling my eyes shut this time and stretching my throat more.
I wasn't sure why but Greg ignored me. He didn't dash to the wardrobe to pull out a shirt or even bother to cover up with the towel.
Lazily, he had strolled to the bed and sank into it like we had done this before.
My feet hardened against the floor and my eyes trailed down his hairy broad chest, to his stomach, my thoughts disappearing into his boxer.
"Are you uncomfortable?" his voice came — husky, big, different from what I was used to, a powerful, irresistible energy plating every word.
I shook my head, scared that saying a word would reveal how much I had already wet my panties at all the emotions he was subjecting me to by just existing in front of me.
His gaze lingered on my face for a while and I imagined him pulling me to himself, kissing me hard until I start to tremble from want that only his c*ck could satisfy.
"---We will be gone before you know it."
I heard him, but it looked like he had said a whole lot and was just concluding.
I nodded again, even though I truly do not have a problem with having the men around.
"So, eat well. It is a celebration. You should eat even more than you have been eating."
My mind ripped apart at the reminder of the breakfast table and how so small I had felt on my seat through it.
"I am fine," I murmured, giving in to the urge to say something.
"Of course."
His response was simple and unsuspecting. Then, he went ahead to give me every detail of why the family gathering was necessary as a means of honouring the continuous growth of their establishments and the departed souls of everyone that had contributed in one way or the other to its benefit.
From all he had said, I could tell how important and huge the get together was and also, I knew that I wouldn't be able to forget Greg for a long time.
"Do you want something?"
His voice rumbled against the question, sending electric waves down my spine. My eyes widened in disbelief.
He wasn't joking. I wasn't dreaming.
EDDYI was leaned against the barman's counter, a glass of scotch between my fingers as I scrolled through the viral pictures of Lola on the internet. The captions were quite hilarious, and at some point, I couldn't hold my amusement. I found myself giggling with every pleasure at the screen of my phone, caring less about the barman's continuous judging glare.HER STITCHES GAVE WAY. HER CONFIDENCE COULDN'T STAND A CHANCE.THE NEXT BEST POLE DANCER. A TOTAL JOKE.The comments sections too didn't spare her.A lot of people rebuked her for her choice of outfit, and her "insensitive" thought of wanting to pole dance. There were loads of shit comments about her weight too.It was pleasing to read.I sighed with relief, taking in the satisfaction of how pleasing the night had turned out.I didn't answer Connor's call earlier. I didn't see a need to.I knew he would be furious, and that was the exact feeling I was looking to spark up in him."You started to derail when you began to nurture
EDDYI had intentionally not told Lola about the menu for tonight. For some reason, I felt like she would pull up another drama and draw everyone's attention to herself in a desperate bid to escape her fate.I made sure her outfit was taunting enough, and didn't bother to listen to her excuses for a change. As she sat there, on the other side of the stage, looking lost like a wet duck, my mind tingled with the excitement of what was about to unfold.I had my eyes on her up until I had to look away, and by the time my eyes returned to where she was supposed to be still sat, she was gone. For a second, the fear of missing out on the most fun that could ever come out of tonight's show rippled through my body.My first instinct was to call Connor, but that motherf*cker was still in my books as yet to be taught a lesson.I didn't want to give him a heads up especially if it was just that Lola took a rest room walk.I decided to sit in my seat, and wait for the events of the evening to slow
LOLAIt was cold.I'd rather be sleeping as it was quite late too, but I wouldn't dare go against Eddy's order.Sitting in a corner of the medium-sized room with dim colored lights flickering on and off, I allowed my mind get lost in the way the other guests walked around silently, their fingers clipped to the tail of tall wine glasses, their gaze steady like they were actually meditating on the low Italian music that rumbled gently out of the speakers in the background.I tried to figure out what their expectations were from their outfits — shiny, casual, skimpy. It looked like whatever was going to be done tonight would be focused on the women.I swallowed, but making sure my expression fell back to the default "happy wife" smile. The world must not know how much I have to bear standing by Eddy's side as his wife. I had to protect Eddy's reputation at all costs. The pangs of pain from still being trapped in a marriage that felt more like prison clawed at my chest.I threw my head ba
FREDDY"How could she do this to me?" I screamed on top of my voice, slamming my hand hard into the wall in front of me, the content of the dressing table rattling to the sudden disturbance.I was furious, especially after what happened with Lola last night.I knew she was hiding something, but it was so difficult figuring it out.My fingers moved unhindered through the fullness of my hair, my body unable to contain my emotions."You're damned, Freddy. You're so f*cking damned," I screamed some more into the wall, expecting no response but my emotions getting terribly bursted when I couldn't get a response. My eyes wobbled in their sockets as I scanned the entire room for the slightest bit of peace, calm. Nothing.I grabbed the collar of the sweatshirt I had changed into, hoping I'd run a few laps, but getting weakened to my bones after seeing Lola like that this morning."Why aren't you even talking? What is so damn hard to tell me about?" My voice clashed heavily against my breathi
LOLA"I want you"I bit down harder on my lower lip, the cut of my teeth digging through the soft of my flesh, threatening to burst it open, but I didn't stop.My lips could heal with ointments, but I would never be able to take back my words.I had been in a situation with my father-in-law the last time I was in his room. He had made it clear that I shouldn't want him. Pushing it like this would get me in trouble with Eddy. Not just Eddy, Freddy too, and Connor would laugh it over.My head banged with the intensity of a hammer slammed repeatedly against an iron bar, sparks flying in every direction, sparks that only meant trouble."Are you okay?" he asked in an open tone waiting for an answer, but I wouldn't even open my eyes."I will get you water," he finished, a scurry following. My breathing became heavier.I wasn't sure what would happen if he came closer to me, but it seemed like he had to if he wanted to hand me the water.I felt a cold breeze, momentary, merciless against my
LOLAI froze, every bone of my body crashing with shock.Greg was standing there — under the stairs, the turn that led to his room. From where I stood, I could see him in full view — from his hair which was neatly slacked back, too good to believe that he had just woken up, to his toes which were hidden behind a pair of grey stockings. He was wearing a pair of long soft long cotton trousers and a clean white shirt, his hands folded across his chest and his expression bland, as if I was invisible standing there.Subconsciously, my eyes blinked up the stairs, my brain checking to see if there were more surprises for the morning. The stairs were empty and silence echoed off its rails. I swallowed the shock that was lingering around my chest.Straightening my back, I turned to Greg again, but almost immediately, as if he was waiting for me before he made a departure, he turned around, and continued to walk farther away until the soft latch of his door on its hinges confirmed that I was al
FREDDYI stretched hard against the softness of the sheets with my jet black duvet in a dump against my body like it was casually abandoned there. My eyes were still shut but I could feel the slight warmth of the morning sun against my face."Don't shut your eyes. Watch me."Immediately, my eyes sl
FREDDYI turned sharply to the door, my body cold with a feeling I couldn't admit as fear. But Lola had dived off my body, swift, like she had been waiting for this moment. Then, she was at the door, but she didn't open it.She locked it.I watched her turn the lock intentionally, twice, the sound
CONNOR"Was that necessary?" I straightened my posture, turning to look at Eddy, my body stiff from anger I could not fully express - partly because it might end up stripping bare my secret feelings, Eddy could read through lines, and then, because I still wanted to respect my friend whose house I
FREDMONI turned endlessly on my bed, regretting why I had made the decision to come back to my family.I hated them. I didn't need them. I was doing well in Europe. They appreciate my music. I had a comfortable life, and I slept well.I was this close to booking a flight for the next morning, but
