THE BILLIONAIRE'S CONTRACT

She loved him.

And tonight, she was finally going to confess her love to him, along with that beautiful secret, which she had been hiding from him since last week.

Cladded in his favourite blue dress, Eizlina was waiting for her husband, Theron, to come back home from his work.

The door of their bedroom finally opened.

He was finally home.

Smiling, and gripping that bouquet of red roses in her hands, she finally turned around to look at her everything, her better half, her love, her Theron. But the land underneath her feet slipped away the second her eyes fell on that person standing at the door.

Ivara Elzaek….His deceased wife, who had died two years ago.

The bouquet fell from her hands, whereas her dark brown eyes widened in horror, seeing his deceased wife in front of her eyes.

Her body went completely numb.

She saw Ivara's steps proceeding closer towards her.

“Your need here has ended, Eizlina Witner,” Ivara's words froze her throbbing heartbeat.

“And not just only here, but in Theron’s life too,”

Tears stung in the corner of Eizlina's eyes. 

“Because, the place you're standing right now is mine,” Ivara's words felt like a tight slap on her soul because it was the truth. This place rightfully belonged to her. 

“The child you are embracing is mine,” 

More tears shimmered in her eyes, realising she was talking about Orelia, that 3 years old little girl, whom Theron and Ivara had given birth to, but she had given that little child her happiness back. 

She had been giving Orelia the serene arms and love of a mother that kid had always needed.

“The man you are living with is mine. I am Ivara Theron Elzaek, the legal wife of Theron Elzaek and the biological mother of Orelia Elzaek, and you …..” Ivara snapped her index finger at her. “You are no one and nothing anymore in their lives,” 

Like a frozen statue, she listened to her every word, which she couldn't even deny because it was the ultimate truth of her life.

“And the man you are falling for, he has never loved anyone more than me,” 

A tear finally broke down from her eyes, because she couldn't deny this cruel truth either. Theron had never loved anyone more than his deceased wife.

Ivara had always been the love of his life. But what about her, who had never loved anyone the way she loved him?

“Everything you were thinking of as yours has always been mine. You are just my veil, so your need has finally ended here,” Ivara seethed out at her.

No word came out of Eizlina's mouth, and then both the women heard those heavy footsteps making their way inside the room.

Eizlina trailed her eyes towards the door and her glossy eyes watered more by finally seeing him in front of her. 

That man, whom she had started loving more than her own self. 

“Theron….” Tears of happiness shimmered in Ivara's eyes. She ran towards him and wrapped her arms around him as tightly as she could, shattering Eizlina's soul brutally.

“I missed you, Theron. I missed you and our Orelia so much,” Ivara's whimpering voice echoed in that room, but his pale grey eyes remained fixed at the glossy brown eyes of Eizlina's.

“Now, I will never leave you and our daughter…. never ever,” Ivara broke down into tears, but what broke Eizlina was that numbness in his eyes which told her that he was aware of her arrival.

He knew Ivara was going to come back in his life, but yet he dragged her in his life forcefully, and then twisted her to become her love and even her life.

Slowly turning around, Eizlina closed her watery eyes tightly because she couldn't even watch him in the embrace of another woman, even though she herself had become the other woman in his life now.

“I…I love you so much, Theron,” 

Eizlina teared up, hearing Ivara uttering those words to him which she had been dying to tell him, but now, she might never be able to tell it to him, and also that secret which she had been hiding inside her.

Lifting her hand up, Eizlina clutched her abdomen.

If he had finally gotten back his wife, his love and the mother of his daughter, then what about her, her love and their child, which was breathing inside her?

What about Eizlina? If for him, she had always been just the veil of his first love, Ivara? 

What about her love, if she had always been The Veil Of Sinner?
