Meeting A Friend

Xavier rushed to the door, and poke his eyes into the peephole. Standing in the doorway was his girlfriend, Talia. He had invited her over to the house, to come and see his new apartment. With a sigh of relief, he pushed the door open and in excitement, she wrapped her hands around him.

"Woah! I got you?" she said, her voice lace with happiness. Xavier breathed a sigh of relief, and wiped off the sweat from his forehead, and hugged her back.

"Talia! Thank goodness it's you. Come in, quick." He opened the door widely and she disengaged from the hug, and walked into the house. She glanced around the house, and suddenly, her eyes landed on Selina, who's spying at the door.

" Welcome to my new home. Do you like it?" Xavier asked as he walked fully into the room after shutting the door. Talia nodded, her eyes not leaving Selina. Selina on seeing who it is, came out from her hiding place with a smile on her face.

" Selina!"

" Talia!"
