Sophie was currently surfing through the huge crowd on the street of New York as fast her leg could carry her holding two cups of coffee. She was definitely eye-catching as her blonde hair made her easily noticeable amidst the crowd of people but that was the least of her problems right now. She was extremely late for work and her fiancee Dave, who is also her business partner, sent the SOS text to her.

 In fact this was one of the few times that she hate herself for not buying a car and learning how to ride it, she was sure that if a list was ever made she would the only boss of a multi million dollars company that didn't have a car of her own and didn't know her to drive but she couldn't be blamed as she was always involved with her work since she graduated from college that she hardly anything going on in her life apart from it and the little trip on the bus was among the little stuff that she did to keep her sanity.

 She may look beautiful and appealing to the eyes but Amber her best friend, had told her on lot of occasion that her biggest flaw was loving to program software which she had to admit sometimes since she was to focus and made her excited but it didn't change the fact it made her turn a multi millionaire in a few years and she was hadly twenty-five. Taking a breather at the front Blue Code office building which consists of over thirty floors high, this was where she worked and she also owned fifty percent of the share of the company together with her fiancee Dave. " Miss Sophie,you are early by five seconds I was a little worried that Mr Dave would asked me to fetch you "

  Sophie instantly wave the security guards off as she enters the building, the building was buzzing with crowd as away and some of her employee were making gestures of greetings but she was more concerned about the two cup of coffee that was in a dual cup holder which she was carrying, The cup of Cappuccino was for her and Dave since it was their favorite cup of coffee so she took it upon her to have on his table since they met for the first time. The elevator finally opened on reaching the thirty floor which was the executive floor also where she and Dave shared a office, Emily the company secretary and Dave personal assistant was already waiting for her at the front of the elevator " I saw you coming and decide to wait for you here, the team is already waiting for you at his office over five minutes ago " This time Sophie was stunned about what was going on that required everyone, he and Dave weren't living together although they had collected their marriage certificate among other stuff. This decision was made by Sophie since she still needed to take care of her Mom who was in a wheelchair.

 Her mom incident happened while she was in secondary school she got hit by moving car and have been stuck to the wheelchair every since then leaving Sophie who was her one child with the responsibility of watching over her, this is the main reason for them not living together it after the official wedding that was scheduled to place at the other end of the year approximately four months after her upcoming birthday day.

 The moment she got into the room she spotted her looking at the screen intensely including Dave " Heah, what are you guys watching?. I never since all of you so eager to watch the news"

 It was Hunter who was her team leader who replied "There Is breaking news that Alexander from the Lucas billionaire family is dead" Sophie was visible shocked about this piece of news since they were in the tech sector who didn't know the Lucas family who was a major player in the game owning a production plant for every item from phone, laptops and a lot more that Sophie couldn't recall. Dave instantly pulled her to the far corner of the office not forgetting to collect the cup of coffee that was in her hands, they kissed for a while which was normal since they were couple before Dave spoke " I scheduled a meeting with the Lucas industry about that software that you had always kept behind and we are on the waiting list" 

 Sophie could help but pushed Dave slightly showing her dissatisfaction, the software that Dave was talking about was one of her cherished software that she had developed over time putting her heart into it until it was perfect. It was hardly a month back that she told Dave that it was complete and he wanted to put it in the market, speaking truthfully Sophie was unwilling to put the work into the market since this could be considered her life work. Seeing that Sophie was already agitated with her suggestions he quickly held her hands and pulled her closer " I didn't know what to give you for your birthday since you literally have everything, so I want to help you achieve some of your goals. I sure you want the whole world to recognize you are the greatest programmer of all time "

 Dave put on a smile as he spoke he knew that Sophie didn't have the will power to reject his request although she looks mature he knew better than everyone how easy she was to be swayed especially if she was in love with you, just has he had predicted Sophie took a minutes to think about it the whole situation before she caved and initiate a kiss with Dave.

 Hmmp, hmm , hmm

 " hope you guys still remember that we are still here, you are making is eat dog food" Emily spoke interrupting Sophie from the kiss, instead of being embarrassed she quickly adjusted her suit and spoke while moving towards the team" if wasn't that you were here, we would have gotten to the next step "
