Roselle Madrigal
For three years, she loved her husband with all her heart, believing that one day, he would finally learn to love her back.
But in three years of marriage, he never touched her. Not even once. She convinced herself that he was simply exhausted from work, too busy for romance. So she waited. Hoping tomorrow would finally be different.
Until one night.
She woke up to the sound of muffled moans coming from the bathroom. Quietly, she walked toward the door and peeked inside. Her heart stopped beating.
Her own husband was pleasuring himself while clutching a photograph of another woman, whispering her name with desperate longing.
In that moment, she realized the painful truth.
It wasn't that he didn't desire a woman. He simply desired someone else.
The next morning, laughter echoed through the mansion. It was her husband's laughter–the one she had spent three years waiting to hear. Standing there was the woman her husband welcomed with warmth, the woman the servants treated like family.
Her older sister. The woman her husband had never stopped loving.
