It was a nightmare! I have been coping with all the dangerous and painful whispers of the dark for quite some time already. I dream about the same thing almost every fucking night! I do not get the connection... In my dreams, I retain seeing two people. And I know for a fact that it's not a reverie. It was my memory. A memory from a hundred years ago! When I was still in the 17th century! Centuries have passed and that girl, even when it's tough for me to concede, is probably dead.

I have been locked in this cell for so long I do not even know how many more days until the wedding. The only thing keeping me going is my anger. I have been betrayed by everyone who I thought loved me. My heart is filled with profound darkness, the kind of darkness found in a deep, bottomless chasm. The lack of light down here that had once bothered me so much is now normal. My world is now etched in charcoal, the vibrant hues of the outdoors feel like a distant dream.

The most painful was to cried in silent we are just nobody but a child that only we can do is to cried. That happened always haunting me,I am no exception for nightmares. There's no night that happens peacefully. And yet my past has been turned myself into an introvert who is afraid to a crowd. "Mom!" I suddenly woke up breathless. Sometimes I'd rather stay awake than to sleep and get rid of my own pasts but it's killing me. "Breaking news; Another dead body was discovered in the sink hole,the body was already decayed so that it is hard to identify whom the victim was. Let's hear the statements of the person who saw the body"

It was time. "I see the darkness inside of you, have felt it my whole life, and that was because we have been destined as mates since the beginning of time. I see the evil that you are capable of, I have only seen just a little bit and even that completely overwhelms me. But I know that no matter how much your darkness consumes me, no matter how much of it engulfes me. I will always follow you into the darkness, not because it is my destiny, but because I truly want it" I finished.

I was supposed to be good, Nick wanted me to be good. But since I have hated for the Council, I turned my back on them, I let the darkness consume my soul, I devoured any good I had left and let the darkness eat me alive.” “I don’t think you’ve let all your light go to the darkness.”

“At first it felt right.” I snort. That was the last thing I thought he would say. “I’m going to tell you how it is, Neah. There is no point in lying. You talk about the darkness and that’s exactly what happens. It creeps in, sticking to your insides like a cancer without you knowing. There will be little flashes of it and it’s always there, tightly coiling around your insides until there is no goodness left.” He leans forward to grab the juice and pours himself another glass. I’m sure right now, with this conversation, he would prefer something much stronger.

The darkness closed in around him, its power overwhelming and absolute. When the ritual was finished, Ryder was changed. He was no longer the same man, but a shadow of his former self, bound to the will of the silver-haired woman. His eyes now mirrored the eerie glow of hers, a testament to the dark force that had claimed him. The weight of his new destiny pressed heavily upon him, as he stood in the ruins of the ancient church, forever linked to the legacy of darkness.

Nina’s Pov- Darkness, engulfed in a pit inside of my own mind and encasing me in the pitcher than pitches of the darkest black. I was trapped inside an infinity room, A room that had no walls. A room that had no light or bulb for me to switch on. I wasn’t here and I wasn’t out there, I wasn’t anywhere, I was just being. I was nowhere, at a standstill and I don’t know for how long I’ve been here or why it was that I was here, but I didn’t want to be here, wherever here was I was stuck with no exit for me to take.

The darkness is nothing more than a test that God gives us, many times to overcome things and learn from it, but in the end we all carry that darkness in our hearts, we just have to decide whether to expel it or let it dwell within you. Charlotte is a girl who has been in the dark since she was born, her parents were shitty to her, she was beaten and mistreated unjustifiably simply because her parents wanted it that way, but to understand a little of this story we must return to the past.
