With no knowledge of which way to go, I hit something hard and I black out. The next thing I know I wake up screaming in my bed, I shiver uncontrollably as the dried sweat makes my hair stick to my head. The sheets tangled at the foot of the bed, but my heart beat is already slowing because I’m at home safe and secure from any of those monsters out there in the woods. It was just a nightmare. Fear of what I didn't know. In the middle of the night l woke up to a loud scream. She was thrashing besides me in the throes of some nightmare , l wasn't shocked by that , it was probably a nightmare about me. "Karen", l grabbed her tightly. She woke up confused but before she could say anything, l pulled her against me and kissed her forehead.

Nathan gets close and holds the smelling salt underneath Madeline's nose, she inhales and starts coughing, eyes still wide with shock as she tries to come around. "What - what happened to me? My head feels awful. I fell and broke the plates, didn't I?" she sputters. "We think it's just stress, honey. You blacked out a little right there. Nothing serious at all," Aida soothes. "It's okay, darling. You're alright now," Nathan also croons as he secretly shares a knowing look with his wife. It certainly won't be long now and they smile at each other.

I know I am, and I can see it has taken a toll on you too, son.”

Sebastian jolted awake, his chest rising and falling heavily. His breath came in short, uneven gasps, his body drenched in cold sweat. He pressed his palms to his face, exhaling sharply. The nightmares had returned. Again. The clock on his nightstand read 3:27AM. He lay back against the pillows, staring at the ceiling, but sleep evaded him.
