What’s wrong?” Lizzy sat down next to Misty. “She has amnesia. Doesn’t remember anyone or anything,” Lizzy said. “What?” Misty said. She looked at Lizzy, the triplets, Thea, then back at Lizzy. “It’s a whole thing,” Lizzy said.

"Ah, you know who I'm referring to, mentioning her name is... a littl bit confusing." Kristina fought the urge to frown and faked a smile, one I can immediately see through, she says, "Ah right...her.You don't have to, it really is confusing but... I think your memories got mixed up." I didn't say anything more. I'm sure she told me that... all the memories I hold onto right now, all of them...did she lite about it? Or is it you Kristina who's lying? It's getting harder for me to figure out the truth.

After hanging up, I walked to the window and opened it. Outside, snow covered everything in white. Branches bent under its weight, snapping with sharp cracks that echoed in the still night. Time flew, and before I knew it, another deep winter had come. In the blur of falling snow, I thought I saw him again. The cold wind whipped my hair as he stood far away. His voice, loud and clear. I let her taunt slide and turned to Kane on the bed, pain and disbelief burning in my eyes. "Get his memory back?" I gave a brittle smile. Did this mean if time travel existed and that if she took part in it, she wouldn't remember anything from the new world? Like she would lose her memories? Thalia doubted it. She flipped through the book, inspecting it more cautiously. She wasn't exactly a superstitious person in any way, so there was no way all this was real. The mist had to travel to the very core of Suzanne’s consciousness to fully take over her body and soul. This time, it was presented with yet another memory. The mist saw a 9-year-old Suzanne sitting at the front porch of a house. She was crying. The mist felt Suzanne's pain. It was the feeling of abandonment. Her mother had left her. Issabella nodded slowly. “Fine.” The therapist adjusted her glasses slightly. “What’s the earliest memory you can clearly remember?” Issabella frowned thoughtfully. “The fire accident.” “The one before you lost your memory?” “Yes.” “How clear is the memory?” Issabella opened her mouth to answer, then paused. Actually, when she thought deeply about it, the memory felt strangely blurry around the edges. Not completely gone, but unclear.Like watching an old video through fog. Her headache immediately pulsed again. She winced softly.

He looked down to find his feet had disappeared into several inches of snow. “Who are you?” he asked, surprising not only himself, but the wolf and the woman as well. The wolf dropped to its belly and whined and the woman’s widened. Miles could see the that the whites of her eyes were like glass, a thin layer of ice keeping them open. She opened her mouth to speak and ice cracked over her lips as she did. “We’re your memories,” she said, her voice croaked. “And we’re your heart.” “What does that mean? You're just my subconscious, right?”
