She needed something to keep her busy after giving up cigarettes in her sixties, so she’ll become a born again fitness junkie.

"Are you sure Uncle will allow you to travel to France, knowing the reason?" Chloe asked her, playing with a spoon and fork on the empty plate at the dining table. "Without any doubt, it would be a struggle I will go through, but he has to allow me at the end." Abigail winked at the end after she answered her. Watson saw Alice was quite, she looked at Abigail, "Abigail why are you late? And tell me why didn't you come to my class for the last few days? Did you take your leave from me?" Abigail knew this woman would scold her. She smiled at her. "Miss, you know I am your Beta's mate and I live in the pack house with him. I had to go to my father's house for some day. I was spending some time with them so I could not come." "So what if you are our Beta's mate? Do you want me to complain to Alpha Albe-"

Abigail blurted out, surprising both her stepmother and herself. "I don't know what you're talking about," Charlotte flat out denied, and went back to the table she was working at. But given that she was pouring over the guest list and seating arrangements for Abigail's wedding, Abigail found that act a bit hard to believe. "No," Abigail said, her words getting firmer as she spoke. "You know exactly what I mean. You can't want what's best for me, that's impossible. Which means you must want Lyall and me married for another reason. And it must be pretty big, too, if you're going through all of this, and you're willing to risk me being possibly happy at the end of it."

Chapter 7 "Madam Scarlett," The doctor called and went to meet the woman who stood by the door. The woman's gaze was glued on Caitlyn. She ignored the doctor and began to advance toward Caitlyn. "You must be more important to my sons than I am to them, as they have decided to stay here with you rather than with their dying mother," She shouted and stood beside Caitlyn's bed. "You're not dying mother, " Herald countered in a low voice, but madam Scarlett heard him. Caitlyn's head was bowed and she fiddled with her fingers. 'Why didn't they just go to her?'
