According to Ace, the beach was located just behind the house, and I would be able to see it in a little while. He was in the kitchen, busy unpacking the food he had bought, while I admired the beauty this house had to offer. The walls were adorned with art featuring flowers and various nature scenes, and a large seashell hung above the sleek black couch in the living room. I never wanted to leave this enchanting place. I was engrossed in a quote written on the bedroom wall when I felt Ace's presence behind me, followed by his arm snaking around my waist. On the far wall of the room is my favorite part of the room.

Somehow, my mind feels at ease even just a couple of seconds mesmerizing the beauty here in the gazebo. This is my favorite spot, honestly, I don't feel comfortable in my room. I scrunched my nose with the familiar scent of the painted paved archaic walls where the big old portraits were hanged and displayed grandly and the greek Doric columns which exhibit minimalistic beauty in simplicity. The wooden smell coming from the old books mixed with the faint aroma of coffee that surrounds this marvelous room entices me every time and bewitches me to be indulged and unravel the implicit bareness of each wonderfully crafted book up until its tiniest details. I returned the book I brought to its rightful own place and picked a new one to read on the same shelf. I traced my fingers to the dusty old letters engraved on the hardbound cover. Mythology...

It’s very open and welcoming, reminding me of Justine. She urges me to look around, and I excitedly circle the room, taking it all in. A large gray plush sectional lines the wall of glass. The cityscape acts as the perfect backdrop with the sun setting behind it. There are black end tables on either side with built-in lamps, and they are littered with books. Massive shelves tower the walls full of trinkets and pictures. Even more, novels pack the spaces available and are organized neatly amongst the clutter. I blush, recognizing a few titles, Justine and I have much in common.

After getting ready I ended up sitting down my eyes taking in the beauty of the room, no matter how long I have seen it or been in it, I never get used to it. The walls are adorned with tasteful artwork, ranging from classic oil paintings to contemporary sculptures, all carefully chosen to reflect Demetria'a personal tastes and aesthetic preferences. Apparently some are her original works as well, which makes me realize how much we have in common, I have an original piece I made myself hanging in my room as well but not as good as hers.

Each section was clearly labelled, handwritten in black ink on what looked like old parchment, and I let my fingers brush over the top of the smooth stones as I passed. There were shelves on every wall, stacked high with books: some looked old and worn, whilst others looked like new-age literature, freshly printed with glossy, colourful covers. There were wall hangings of all different shapes and sizes, some with chakras on, some with celestial patterns, and others with abstract shapes and sewn in earthy colours. I wondered if this was where Aradia had found my wall hanging, and the thought of her in here, shopping for me, made my heart swell.

The cold, velvety titles under my feet felt like walking on a cloud, its deep pile inviting me to take off my shoes and revel in their comfort. Honestly, the room was adorned with tasteful artwork, carefully selected to complement the overall aesthetic. Paintings of serene landscapes and vibrant flowers adorned the walls, adding a touch of natural beauty to the space. At the end of the sitting room was a bookshelf filled with leather-bound classics that stood in one corner, inviting me to curl up and lose myself in the world of literature.
