She placed it back, laying it alongside the freshly plucked bundle of rose flowers and sitting by the side, for a moment she went silent, allowing tears to freely flow from her eyes before speaking.

I hadn't realized the trafficking rings were already this bold. I kept my voice cold. "You're dreaming. Take your money and get out." His eyes turned vicious. "Then we apologize." The men grabbed me, shoved me back into the apartment, and slammed the door. The scarred one pulled out a syringe. The fluid inside it had a faint glow. "This is our newest formula.
