Ugo asked, noting the rumpled face of her father.
"Aka ekpuchi onwa (Nothing is hidden under the sun)," Echefu mumbled. But as Ugo pondered over the meaning of the words, her father suddenly burst with laughter.
"Is everything alright, papa?"
"Of course, my daughter." Her father chuckled. "Our enemy has met the path of their destruction."
"Do we have any personal enemies aside from the neighboring villages?"
"That's every reason why you need to grow up." Ichie Echefu said. He had picked up some of the bamboo, resting them on his muscular arms, "But I think you need to know, at least, since you admire him so much."
