Il s'agit de l'histoire imaginaire d'un jeune homme qui, après la mort tragique de ses parents a décidé d'intégrer une unité spéciale de lutte contre le crime, dénommée Bureau d'Enquête Scientifique et Technique en abrégé le BEST, pour rechercher et traduire en justice les assassins de ses parents.
