Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

It was quiet for a few minutes and he finally said, “Tilly and I have absolutely no secrets. People like you and me … we can’t be with just anyone. It’s either one night stands, fake short term relationships or nothing. You don’t just find a Tilly on every corner. A woman that will accept you, that if you are totally honest with her … won’t be afraid of you. I never had someone to … to help me. To direct me, and it damn near killed me. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I call it my dark shadow … it’s a part of me, but it’s a part of me I can mostly keep hidden, that I can control.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

DEPTHS OF SHADOWS

DEPTHS OF SHADOWS

Its eyes were as red as blood and its presence gives a chilling and horrifying feel. “The two witch kids...have you heard about the prophecy?” The twins looked at each other being puzzled. “Oh, I see, I would be glad that I will be the one to tell your fate...” The evil of shadows made them confused. “...if one of you succeeds to become the ruler of the separate worlds, it will be the end of everything.” As Falla moved her pace to her brother trying to hide at her twin's back, Talon eventually vanished and was nowhere to be found. The evil of shadows moved closer in her direction. She feels heaviness and high tension as the evil comes closer and closer to her.

The Darkside of the Moon

The Darkside of the Moon

“You are stronger than that, Demika. You are the last of the bloodline of Wicca. Do not let the darkness claim you.” The ancient tome lies before her, its leather-bound cover worn and cracked with age. The Book of Shadows is far larger than she imagined, a massive, imposing presence that seems to hum with a life of its own. It radiates an energy that is both intoxicating and terrifying, a potent mix of promise and peril. Demika sits cross-legged on the floor of her room, the only light coming from the flickering candles she has arranged in a circle around her. The shadows dance on the walls, their movements almost hypnotic, as if they are alive, as if they are watching her.

Rejected And Claimed By Her Trio Mates

Rejected And Claimed By Her Trio Mates

The shadow doesn’t even notice. I slam a palm against the shadow over her head, snatching it away before it can hurt her. It’s like putty against my fingers—solid but fluid, colder than a piece of ice. My own shadows flare wildly at their brethren’s proximity, but I grit my teeth and ignore the sudden roiling movement of my marks. Squeezing tightly, I jerk the shadow away from the wall and slam it onto the stove, while I use my other hand to turn on the burner. There’s a soft click, and then a small ring of flame flares up, making the shadow screech. I don’t release it until it catches fire. I leave the shadow smoldering on the burner and leap away, searching for the next threat. A black sha

Shadows & Secrets

Shadows & Secrets

“Centuries ago, twin alphas Fenrir and Faber Nightshade were born to lead Shadowfang. They fell for the same she-wolf, fated to Faber. Heartbroken, Fenrir founded Nightshade, carving a territory steeped in the land’s spirits. Their rituals, passed down through generations, border on magic, drawing power from the earth itself. That, paired with the three years of nearly complete silence... it feels deliberate and worrisom.” Aurora’s heart raced, her thoughts flickering to Vincent’s warnings about Nightshade’s unrest. The pack’s isolation, paired with this unnatural energy, pointed to something sinister. “This feels bigger than territorial disputes,” she mindlinked. “Like it could threaten all

Possessing her Shadows

Possessing her Shadows

The room smelled faintly of wine and dust, the kind of damp heaviness that seeps into your lungs until it feels like you’ve been breathing regret itself. The shards of broken glass still lay scattered across the floor where Marcelo had cornered me hours ago, jagged little reminders of how reckless I’d been, how far I’d fallen. I stayed curled up in the far corner of the room, knees to my chest, as if shrinking small enough could make me invisible.

I Married My Mate's Enemy

I Married My Mate's Enemy

He wasn’t touching me, but his presence anchored me, his steady heartbeat somehow syncing with mine despite the chaos around me. I forced myself to breathe. “I’m not afraid of you,” I told the shadows, voice trembling but firm. They flickered. “You hide truths,” one hissed, voice like wind through broken glass. “You deny yourself.” “I acknowledge them,” I said, stepping forward. “But I do not let them control me.” The shadows surged, spinning faster, pressing inward, folding the space around me. The walls bent, colors flaring and twisting. The light beneath my feet pulsed violently, threatening to throw me off balance.

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Shadows Of The Dark Heart

Then, the harsh basement lights flickered to life. The sudden brightness stabbed into his one eye, as the other one had a rod drawn deep and the man on the floor squeezed in fear. His entire face twisted in pain, as if even the light itself was another form of torture. The footsteps stopped. The man forced his one eyelids apart, just a little A thin sliver of vision. All he could see was the silhouette of the figure approaching… And then cold shadow that fell over his broken body like a final warning. “W-at-e-r…” The word scraped out of his throat like broken glass, just a dying sound struggling to exist.

She had to do what was best for her and those who depended on her. Grant wasn’t fooled that counselor might not see it, but he and Hunter did, the shadows that were in Angel’s eyes. Shadows of Desire

She slid in. I stopped at the corner and counted my breaths to ten. The alley bent once around flattened boxes. I didn’t follow. I didn’t need to. I heard it, faint and unmistakable—the low mechanical hum of the steel door pulling air, like a lung on the other side of brick. shadow, I wrote, and added a dot. The dot felt like the scream Marco had told me to send. Copy, came the reply. Then: Inside honey planted. Watching.
