" When I saw the light of the taxi coming from behind I tried to stop it but others couldn't see because he was following. Thick drops started falling. It was so cold my body trembled with goosebumps. It became thicker, heavier, and colder. I could barely hear him but I knew he was cursing at me. "I am fine," I screamed back and waved my hand to another taxi. This time, he saw and stopped. By the time I jumped in, I was drenched and freezing.

An obnoxious white wolf came out of nowhere. I took a step back as she sauntered toward me, a grimace plastered all over her face as if she was going to pop up the hell outta me. "Accept who you are, Aksha." I nodded in panic. "Welcome, Aksha Beatrix Aslenovie." I catch a glimpse of my hands, turning into white hairy legs. Or was I imagining things? "You may enter." The door slowly creaked open and in stepped Sasha, the beta's second daughter. She had her dark hair in a bun and had on a turtle-neck dress hiding her athletic figure. This one could ride for days without her knees getting tired. She was taller than her elder sister and had a six-pack that could put most of the male wolf’s six-pack to shame. Sasha wasn't as pretty as Sara, but her head game was fire. As she got closer the Alpha realized she reeked of Vick’s vapor rub. The scent was driving his wolf into a frenzy.

Seafeema catches the scent of salt, momentarily fearing the pain that would typically accompany it, but she feels nothing as the nurse carefully tends to her injuries. Turning her attention to Finrir, Sasha approaches him with a leather bag flask, extending it to him. She signs, "Here, drink. Are you starting to feel any better?" Finrir responds with a half-smile, ta the flask. "Yes, I'm fine. How's my sister?" Sasha hesitates momentarily but then signs, "She seems like she'll be okay, but it's still early. I've never seen infections like hers." Without wasting any more time, Sasha moves on to Bryn, while her colleague goes to gather additional nurses.

The girls were moving throughout the forest, taking in the scenery of vibrant colored birds that flew through the air or sat perched on tree branches. "And?" inquired Byeol, spraying her third coat of bug repellent.

When Sasha was removed from the training ground, Lucianne tried to pull her arm out of Xandar’s chest to examine the condition. She didn’t feel any pain anymore so she should be healed.

Sasha asks, but her voice has an echo to it as if her words are being heard from far away. “I was on a hike. It was the first time that I climb this trail, everything was fine in the beginning, but on my second day I felt as if I was being followed. I got off the trail hoping to lose whatever was following me. When I looked back again wolves were chasing. I ran to get away, but I got hurt and when I woke up again, you people were here.” Jessica spoke in a deadly calm voice, she sounded like a drone. “What do you know of our people? What do you know of supernatural?” Sasha asks her voice still sounding far away.
