When we crossed the line

When we crossed the line

I responded with a glare. The shorter staff cleared his throat. "If you'll both kindly show us your key cards, we can straighten this out." "gladly," I huffed, shoving mine forward. Mr. Smug did the same, sliding his out with infuriating calm. the staff scanned both cards, their brows furrowing. My stomach churned. Finally, the shorter one looked up nervously. "There's been a double booking. Both of you are registered to this suite." I blinked. "You've got to be kidding me."

Trapped In The Mafia Wolf Island

Trapped In The Mafia Wolf Island

She had a stethoscope around her neck. Her wrinkled hands connected the stethoscope to my chest, examining my body. “Can you see me?” she asked, her hands waving in front of me. I parted my lips to respond, but nothing came out. I forced again, but nothing came out. “It’s okay,” the elderly lady said, as if noticing my struggle. “Just nod once if it is yes, twice if no.” “Can you see me?” she asked. I nodded once. “Can you move your hands?”

Too Late To Take Me Back Alpha

I said. My guards nodded. As we began walking toward the waiting vehicles, movement near the entrance caught my attention. Two elderly people were sitting quietly on a nearby bench. A man and a woman. The moment they noticed me looking in their direction, they immediately stood. My guards reacted instantly, one stepped forward. "Move away." Another guard moved toward them. "You cannot approach Luna Scarlett." The elderly woman immediately looked nervous. The man raised both hands. "We mean no harm." I frowned.

No Escape From the Ex-husband

No Escape From the Ex-husband

"Ouch! Young lady, you have a terrible temper! You scared my grandson, and now you're trying to hurt me?" The old lady had experienced countless hardships in life and was not one to be trifled with. She wasted no time in raising her voice, drawing the attention of everyone in the mall. Hiding behind the security door, Samantha heard the commotion outside and cautiously peeked out. She couldn't help but burst into laughter. Linda was definitely lacking in intelligence. Samantha couldn't fathom how she had managed to provoke the old lady, let alone push her down. Did she not know that insurance policies now exist for accidents involving the elderly being pushed?

Crossing Lines

Crossing Lines

One dollar at a time. Right on cue, there’s a knock. When I open the door, the Langham manager is standing there like something out of a luxury ad—polished, efficient, and utterly unreadable. On a silver tray lies Nathan’s Centurion card. It gleams like a weapon. “Mr. Cross has instructed you use this, Ms. Reyes, for any preparations required for the upcoming event.” Required. “Of course he has,” I murmur, snatching the card like it personally insulted me. “Tell him I’ll make sure to look the part.”

I Never Regretted Leaving You

I Never Regretted Leaving You

*** Ava pushed Madam Moore towards a remote and desolate area. "What do you want to do?" Madam Moore became increasingly flustered. Finally, Ava brought her to Rainbow Bridge. "Old lady, you should be familiar with this place, right?" "What did you bring me here for?" Ava forcefully dragged her off the wheelchair, throwing her under the bridge, leaving her lying on the cold and dirty floor. "Old lady, from now on, you would sit here begging every day." "Can't you treat the elderly like this?"

i think the author needs to focus on finishing books rather than leaving lots of unfinished ones that leave your readers hanging and we do not want that. you would gain more followers and readers if you can concentrate on one story at a time and finish each book. more ongoing than completed books

This is one heck of a story. It has romance, betrayal, revenge, time travel, robots and tons of dramatic twists and turns. There are some translation mistakes here and there but overall, it’s well written.

Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

He’s alarmed. “We’re just outside,” Lukas says to him “If anything happens, we’ll know immediately.” Zen looks at him from the corner of his eyes, and I can almost see the gears turning in his head. Still, his hold tightens minimally on my shoulder. I take a deep breath, and turn to face Lady Starcovesky. “Just the threshold,” I say somberly “Let him cross only that much.” The older woman growlers, and opens her mouth to say something, but I continue.

Safe journey then. Drive carefully grandma added and the man replied with l will. He left and we also went to get our tickets. My dear sit here l will go in that line. Given your condition, you will collapse when you stand for too long. Grandma told me. I laughed at her but still let her go. Anyway she isnt that very old that she cant do things on her own. I sat on the bench that was placed out side the ticket area. Through the glass walls, l saw that people who were in line let grandma get the tickets first. Hmm they are nice people and some times being old is advantageous. I thought.

The Alpha Dragon’s Prisoner

The Alpha Dragon’s Prisoner

Everything freezes when there are quite a few places that turn in my direction. I catch the eyes of a beautiful older woman and she waves me in. Her hair has started to go silver and is mixed in with the blonde strands. She wears a yellow apron over a blue dress and almost looks like an old fashioned grandmother. With nothing better to do I walk right through the door and up to her. “You can help yourself to anything you like. The trays are right there at the end and you can get a drink from the fridge” she says as she gestures across the room.

CEO's Getaway Love

But, I respected the man upstairs and carried him in my heart. An old lady was slowly walking in front of me and trying to hold onto the wall for support. “Ma’am, please allow me,” I stated next to her with a smile and held out my arm for her to take. The old lady looked at me and smiled. Her hair was pure white, and her face was full of wrinkles.
