Are They Banning Books 소설 & 이야기

Zavier The God of the future asked as he looked around the class. "Yes Ms. Ariella is wondering why you worded the book the way you did." King Alexander stated. Zavier looked at me and then my book with a weird Expression on his face. Why did he seem curious? "Well this was back when you would imprison anyone who didn't remember a law. As I recall you made it illegal to read any of the laws you created out loud because of that reason alone." Zavier explained.

“I asked why you would read these kind of books for Amelia” I looked at the book in his hand, a book of myths and legends. I sighed what else could go wrong. “I shouldn't read that” “Why don't you read real books…” “She's a child” “Does that matter?” “We've been arguing a little too much lately” “Read her something better” “Dare me” Dare me??

I said wondering where this whole conversation was heading, "I want you to protect her," he said turning his phone screen to me, 'her'? my eyes slowly fell on the screen, a girl with her blonde hair packed in a ponytail sat with a pile of books by her side, she is obviously a nerd even her big round glasses say a lot, she looked fixated on whatever information she was getting from the book that even if an attack was to happen in the room right beside her she may not even know, but something about her made me feel there was more than what meets the eyes, "A girl really?" I asked in a bored tone,

she finally asked. Barbie and Jucel looked at her. "You didn't know?" they asked in sync. Chloe nodded innocently. Barbie clicked her tongue and noted in her mind to ask Lucian later. In the meantime... "Hwā banned the study of witchcraft from all academies in the Kingdom ever since the last Blood Star died. It was speculated that someone from Demetrius that wielded such power sided with the Kingdom of Illinor 50 years ago." Chloe slowly nodded her head. "If such a thing was prohibited, then why did this book show up in the library of Krystalline?"

The ribbon just had to be cut off with a scissors. Everyone began to step into the block. The Yedfund was so spacious and wide. It had so many shelf's lined up from one side to the other and then books slotted in. Students began to search the books. Since it was only the grand opening, they were allowed to read books for free. Normally they would be paying for their stay right now and another is that, a book isn't permitted to go out of the door. If that happens, the camera might spot them and then an alarm would go off putting the person at a great disadvantage.

"That wasn't magic, science, remember?" " What are you? An engineering major?" "No a medicine major" "You don't look like a nerd to me" " That's stereotypical," he looked at the book." are you reading or not?" "I'm taking it home," I said, scanning the first page of the book. "You can't" I looked up at him. "Why not? Most libraries give their customers privileges to borrow a book, don't they?" He sighed. "Just do as I say. Drop the book when you are done, if you know what's good for you"

"Can we borrow or take the books home?" "Stop playing games, youngster. We are about to finish." The man spits angrily. He examined the book on the table. "The Beast King? You may find more recent editions of books on any bookshelf, this one is out of date." "Recent ones?" I have my doubts. I could instantly understand why this book had been classed as out of date. Most likely, those at the top did not want everyone to come into contact with such information. The majority of people nowadays have only heard about demons. They are unaware of how frightening they were. To avoid public uproar, literature containing specifics concerning demons was banned.

The old woman didn't want their ill manners to hurt Elira and stress her pregnancy over some mindless gossip. However, after weeks of enduring open threats to her life, Elira had grown a backbone for rumors and was much stronger than she was before. “Nireya, do you know why these sorts of books were banned?” She asked, shutting the book close with a thud. Of course Nireya knew the reason, even a child born yesterday would know the tale of the great war which passed on from generation. “They were prohibited because the five kingdoms decided it was best.” Nireya scraped the surface of the truth, she didn't want to be the one to tell Elira about the tragic event.

I had memorized where the older volumes were kept. I scanned the spines with my fingertips until I found two black magic books that had not been touched in years. One of them had a faded red crest, the kind used before the kingdom banned certain forms of magic. The other had a dark, cracked cover with an old wax seal that had broken long ago. It was one of the early banned volumes. No one should be reading it. I pulled both out and carried them to a long reading table.

She tuned him out completely, eyes fixed on the wall clock, counting down the seconds until she could leave. When he paused for breath, she stood abruptly. The principal blinked, thrown off. “Sit back down, young lady. I’m not finished,” he declared and continued. "As I was saying… you are hereby banned from the library for the remainder of your time at this institution. Permanently. If you must read or need books for your coursework, you will have to rent them privately and use them in your hostel only. No exceptions. Do you understand the severity of this consequence?”
