She pointed to the glass before Rachel. Rachel couldn’t tear her scrutinizing gaze away from Ashley. Ashley, unperturbed, picked up her drink and drank the last of it. She smacked her lips in satisfaction and dropped the glass with a loud thud, enjoying the turmoil she had awakened in Rachel. She had an entirely different plan for Rachel.
