Perhaps it was the pain or Ash's strange guttural yell, but the wolf inside him woke up and quickly took over. He quickly got up and pushed her off him with one hand. Ash started to fall sideways, but she quickly righted herself. She bared her teeth and growled at him, brown eyes flashing into a golden yellow. Hunter pushed her down and got on top of her, pinning down both of her arms, holding her down by the wrists. He growled back, showing his fangs. He blinked once and his eyes went from blue to amber. Bright red blood ran in a line from his bleeding nose to his lips.

Tears well up in my eyes and I blink them away. Not if I can help it. Mad hatter locks hands with Ash once more, and they grapple. It's now or never to end this madness, but just as I aim at mad hatter, he moves, or Ash moves and, I don't know who kicks who, but one goes tumbling onto the floor, taking the other one with him. They begin hitting each other on the face and chest, and rolling.

I scanned the trees in front of us and my eyes fell into the grass with rash movements, just near a chir pine tree. “Quinn, East!” I shouted as I felt something from the east running in our direction. Quinn nodded and immediately positioned her bow to release the arrow with poison. With a bolt, Quinn calmly let go of the arrow when a big brown werewolf appeared. This is our first time to see a brown-haired werewolf, most of the hunts we’ve been to have black or grey fur. “Brown?” Rendall asked as we saw the arrow hit its leg and growl in pain.

I sat in my wheelchair, staring at the snowflakes that had appeared in the sky without my noticing. I turned and called to Isaac, "Isaac, wheel me outside now so I can see the snow!" He grumbled that there was nothing special about snow, but his hands didn't slow down at all as he helped me get dressed. He bundled me up with a coat, scarf, and hat, then pushed me out the door. The biting wind scraped across my cheeks, icy and sharp. But the sun was also shining beautifully that day. It put me in a strangely good mood.

he shouted, his voice trembling with anger. Asher’s lips curled into a snarl. "You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into." He took a step forward, but Lucas didn’t back down. Instead, he launched himself at Asher with a force that surprised even him. Lucas was strong, but Asher was stronger, infinitely so. The werewolf inside him roared in anger at the audacity of this mere human trying to challenge him. With a swift, brutal motion, Asher caught Lucas by the shoulders and hurled him against the wall. The impact was bone-jarring, and Lucas gasped in pain, but still, he tried to push himself up.

Because I did not know what else to do, I took it and he led me forward until I could have sworn we were directly under the moon, then he brought out his claws. I flinched slightly, but did not run, there was some kind of power stronger than myself holding me in place, bending my will to his. His eyes were more silver than blue now, and I shivered in fear as he stepped closer to me. With a single claw, he traced the delicate pulse on my neck, and I sucked in a breath as he pushed his claw harder, hurting me, drawing blood.

I had unknowingly closed my eyes. But when I opened them, the two alphas were face to face. He was foaming at the mouth as he banged against the glass, ramming it with his whole body as it shook. Dr. Dawson smirked. He taped the glass with a mocking expression. As the specimen had nothing he could think of doing for more intimidation. He started to pace back and forth, staring Dr. Dawson down, growling at him and baring his teeth.

Jacob shouted, taking down a snarling attacker. "Got it!" Kris replied, dispatching another with a swift kick. Their bond and trust allowed them to anticipate each other's moves. Together, they formed an unstoppable duo, their claws and fists flying in perfect harmony. A Bluefur warrior lunged at Kris, but Jacob intervened, his claws slicing through the attacker's defenses. Kris returned the favor, taking down a snarling werewolf targeting Jacob's exposed flank. Their synergy was undeniable, and their combat skills were honed to perfection.

I duck one hit, take another to the shoulder that sends pain exploding through my arm and back, and still manage to drive my fist into someone's jaw hard enough to snap his head back. But they don't stop. They don't hesitate. And I'm already slowing. A hit lands. Then another. And another. I don't even know where the hits are coming from anymore. My vision blurs for half a second.
