Novel & Cerita Assassin's Blade Series Order

I didn't get to blink my eyes when they both attacked him. My heart sank. He lifted his both swords blocking their hit. Second and Third assassin took out long blades. Terror filled me. Putting his weight on the swords, he pulled himself back. They didn't stumble and attacked him again. The collision of blades filled the air. My heart was drumming when his grip losses on one of his swords. A small shriek tore out of my lungs. They lifted their swords more aggressively. I clasped my hands together in anticipation. Another blade gleamed under the light. I let out a long breath that I was holding. Assassin blocked one of the swords.

“You’re not touching my family.” The assassin lifted his hand. And suddenly the rest of them moved. Fast. Blades flashed. Cassian lunged first. Steel collided with steel. Lucian moved like a shadow beside him. Two assassins fell instantly. I stepped forward and grabbed the closest attacker by the throat. He struggled. I slammed him against the stone wall. “Wrong place,” I growled. “Wrong night.” I threw him into the others. But more rushed forward. Too many. Cassian blocked two strikes and ducked under another.

The blade sliced through the air above my head before crashing into a nearby table, wood splintered everywhere. I kicked at the attacker’s knee and they staggered back only a step before lunging again our blades collided once more. “Who are you?” I demanded. No answer. The assassin fought in complete silence. Another strike and another block. I remembered Vaelor’s lessons and the things I had learnt from Knox. I shifted to the side before the next attack landed. For the first time I managed to push the stranger back. The assassin tilted their head slightly and then they attacked even faster. I stumbled backward and my shoulder slammed into the wall.

I took the blade from him and buried the silver blade in his stomach, but then I felt the other assassins surrounding me. I knew what came next; I had played this game before, but this time I was the prey, not the predator, and I knew how the story usually ends for the prey, even if one is as dangerous as I am. Another tried to grab me. I quickly ripped one of his hands off me and swiftly somersaulted to the far end, another charged at me and then ripped off the head of the next assassin who charged at me, watching his lifeless body fall to the ground. I was surrounded, but I was not going to beg like a rat; instead, I would die like a soldier, taking as many as I can to the after life.

I thought I could handle this on my own, thought I could bring Zephyr back without assistance because I’m her mate, but it's not enough. “Did you see the person? Did you see the assassin?” Avani snarls. I look at him, knowing this will hurt him nearly as much as it hurts me. “It’s Zephyr, Avani. She’s the assassin.” He falls back on his butt. “What? Are you sure?” he asks. I raise an eyebrow at him. “Why would she do this? Why would she kill these shifters?” Cedric asks. “They got to her,” Avani says as realization dawns on him and he looks at me. He and I have worked together long enough. We understand each other without words.

Thankfully, most of the stuff just involved hacking into certain systems and unraveling encryptions for a couple of Assassins. I look around the living empty living room and glimpse into my room, but it’s empty. Heart pounding with panic, I check the bathroom, but it’s also empty. It’s only when I hear sounds coming from my gym that my breathing steadies. I watch from the shadows as April practices a couple of fighting moves. At one point, she takes two knives from my weapons wall and expertly twirls and throws them. She really is good. Maybe even better than me. I’m just not sure if I want to be with another Assassin. I know that I’m being unfair, but I meant it when I said that I needed ti

“I see you’re not just a hot-tempered street rat. Yes, Kalifa should give us the answers we need. From there either Rion or Janon would be next. Rion would be too tough to reach and Janon relatively easy. Neither of them will be important targets until we know who’s behind Project Nova Homo.” Ignacio made a face at the weird sounding name and Rush cringed. Nash remained emotionless but I swore I caught his fingers twitching. “In other words,” Ignacio broke the silence. “The sequence will be Lilith, Berriwott, Kalifa and Arvin last after Janon and Rion whoever first.” Rush nodded and I eyed the list. “What about the methods of disposal?”

The moment I stepped into the room, I flinched and it appeared before me, a blade so thin and sharp I could feel it cut my skin even before it touched it. I bent backwards and the blade stopped right above me. It changed direction and stabbed down but I kicked out, pushing the leg of the assassin and bending out of the way as he staggered forward. I grabbed the hand wielding the blade and in one quick move, I pulled it out of its socket. Blood spurted out, dying the floor, bed and walls crimson. I used my hand to stab the assassin and he fell limp on the ground dead. I picked up the blade and I threw it at the curtain, it stabbed into a figure and the person also fell to the ground dead. I w

She stays two paces behind me through corridors where the guards track my movement with the flat inventory-gaze of men monitoring expensive freight. By the time the nursery door seals behind me, the suppressants have turned my limbs to pig iron. Counting the cameras takes deliberate effort. One. Two. The third, above the doorframe, is still twitching—Damian's manual override still engaged. I check the bedpost. The Phantom Blade's tip cold against my thumb. Just touching it brings something back—some older self, the assassin who didn't need a genetic edge to find a threat. I let that self settle over me like a second skin.

Finally, I turned to look at him. I let my gaze trail over his taper fade, the messy blond hair that refused to behave and those stupid innocent blue eyes that made people trust him instantly. He had the face of a saint, smooth lines, sharp cheekbones, a mouth that curled too easily into a smile that could make anyone feel safe. But Olek wasn’t safe. He was the Syndicate’s golden boy; the number one assassin, top of the kill board for ten damn years. I was fifth, which wasn’t bad considering I’d only been in the game for six years.
