, I replied as I sat down on one of the couches. "That's weird. Who would give someone black roses?", Lilian pointed out. "Atlene", I answered. From the corner of my eyes I noticed Atlas scrunch up his face when I called out his brother's name as the one who gave me the flowers. "Atlene?", Lilian asked wide eyed. "Hm mh", I confirmed. "And I don't think it's weird at all, I actually quite like them", I added. They all looked taken aback and Atlas frowned. "Oh o!", Lilian exclaimed.

She couldn't even bring herself to break the annoying alarm clock as this one was a customized one. The particular clock had a voice which always started with a sweet voice,"wakie wakie baby.... Rise and shine my queen..." But that was not the only reason, the reason we're never the words...nope... not at all... The reason was the voice... It belonged to Rudra... She still finds it a mystery to solve that how her friend caught a hold of Rudra's voice that too such sweet one... Groaning, she picked up her alarm clock on her nightstand, Sakshi looked at the time and said,

Rowan sat on the edge of the couch, elbows on his knees, distractedly twirling a pen between his fingers while he stared at the flickering fireplace that hadn’t been attended to since the morning. It had been two hours since Atlas went upstairs, claiming he just needed a little rest. He hadn’t heard a peep from him since then, no movement, not even a cough. He told himself not to think too much about it. Atlas probably just needed the sleep, and hovering would make him look like some kind of worrywart (something a guy like him could not afford, by the way). Still, that silence pressed on him, heavy and unsettling.

I know it seems odd to go to the movies in the morning, but he tells me he has a ton of other things planned, so it is just a warm up for the day. After the movies, he takes me to this really pretty indoor botanical garden. There is a huge atrium filled with countless varieties of roses. We walk along the path looking at each one until we get to a variety called Earl Grey. The blooms are light grey with just hints of purple flecks. They are absolutely gorgeous. “Look closer, Baby." He points to the little sign at the base of the bush. There is a little plaque in front of it that says: "This rose bush is dedicated to the Goddess Iokaste by Bronx Mason.”

A faint light emanated from his eyes, as dark magic swirled around him, resembling a tangible storm. “Well, well.” His gaze landed on me, ignoring the chaos. “The lost jewel of the Moonstones.” Atlas staggered, blood dripping from his lip, but he still planted himself in front of me again. “You won’t touch her.” He growled out. Honestly, this type of defence is the first time I've seen it from him, and if I hadn't already suffered at his hands, this would have made me fall in love with him even more.
