Beneath the Immortal Sky: A Heart Left Burning

Beneath the Immortal Sky: A Heart Left Burning

In a world where everyone chased immortality like it was the only answer, she learned something quieter—and way more dangerous. Turns out the only thing worth trying to reach… was the heart she’d left burning in her wake. ............................................................................. On the morning the Wen Clan’s eastern wing burned, Wen Lihua, sixteen, lay trapped under a fallen pine beam. Her mourning robes—bright white, now streaked with ash and blood. She still had her hand out, reaching for her mother’s jade tablet. No one bothered to check if she was breathing.

Bound to Burn

Bound to Burn

"Somebody, please help!" But the street remained eerily silent, save for the distant hum of traffic. The world around me felt surreal, like I was trapped in a nightmare I couldn’t wake from. My trembling hands reached for her pulse, but I already knew. The light in her eyes was gone. A sob tore from my throat, raw and uncontrollable. I looked back at Noah, silently pleading for him to move, to react, to feel. But he didn’t. He just stood there, as cold and detached as ever.

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

The gun slammed onto the concrete floor with a hollow, final clink. He struggled, his years of conditioning and sheer strength pitted against their cumulative power. They were not just strong; they were coordinated, a highly polished apprehension device. That was when he felt a scorching in his neck, a burning thread of fire that ran through his veins. His muscles relaxed their guard, and his sight blurred. “I was going easy on you, Damian,” Cassandra's voice was the last he heard, her tone cold and low, a whisper in the night that was descending. “But some men just have to learn the hard way… Literally…”

Flames of Betrayal

Flames of Betrayal

I barely cracked my eyes open, squinting at Simon a short distance away. His lips quivered, but no words came out. I surrendered to the pain, closing my eyes as blows rained down, each one burrowing into my bones. I could not even muster the energy to feel hatred. 'Simon, we're done for good,' I told myself. Nicole's wails crescendoed, finally jolting Simon out of his paralysis. "Stop, just stop! Ella, make them stop!" Simon barked. Ella reluctantly gestured for the beating to end.

BURNING EMPIRE

BURNING EMPIRE

--- Burning Empire Chapter 1 Matteo’s heart hammered like a drum as he slipped through the crowded streets, clutching the small leather pouch tight beneath his coat. The city buzzed all around him — neon signs flickering, voices shouting, music pounding from nearby bars. But Matteo barely heard it. All he could focus on was the pounding in his chest and the sharp, cold weight in his pocket. This was it. His first real score.

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

It is approaching them really fast that it passes through their bodies pulverizing them into ashes in no time. “Tsk, what a bore.” The light that turns out to be a fireball said. “So, you are Banaspati, the Wandering Torch, eh?” Alfi suddenly appears before it with the others behind him. “Oh, so you are alive?” “We are,” Alfi replied. The ones that Banaspati pulverized are clones from a Jepitron that Alfi turned into his party. “So the rumor is true. A gang of wandering spirits which is led by the Starless is trying to get to the top of this palace. No wonder you could do such a trick to me.” Banaspati said arrogantly.

The Dark soul

The Dark soul

"My boys are very interested in how this works, you're their test dummy." "The boss will take care of you soon enough!" The man cackled as Summer pressed the button on the remote she was holding. Screaming the man started convulsing as the smell of burning flesh filled the room. Panting he set his scornful eyes on Summer who was still smiling. "Going to talk yet?" She asked hovering her finger over the button. "Or was one time not enough for you?" The man clamped his mouth shut as his eyes flashed defiantely.

Rise of The Darkforce

Rise of The Darkforce

The souls advanced by attacking the speedsters as their new threat, turning the badlands into a land of fire and lightning. One dark soul flew at Carol, its ghastly figure making it look like a ghost except it had fire burning where its feet were supposed to be. Its head was nothing but a skull set ablaze with fire and its orbits glowed red and for its mouth, fire shot out of it like a dragon. Carol spun rapidly, evading the dark soul before going on to zap it with lightning from behind and it burst into dust just like the others. Three dark souls were launching an attack on Diana who had just decapitated one soul by striking it hard across its skull, knocking it out of place.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

Even skilled fighters might risk serious damage to their souls if the spirits latched on. But Sylas didn't so much as glance at them. One of the black-robed guardians beside him knew what to do without being told. He raised his hand and unfurled a dark banner carved with soul-devouring runes. The moment it snapped open, a tidal wave of black energy poured from its surface. It split into countless razor-sharp soul blades that swept through the sky in every direction. The shrieking stopped instantly. Those vicious spirits crumbled apart before the soul-devouring banner. They were shredded and swallowed and refined into pure soul energy that the banner drank up without leaving a single wisp beh

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!
