It was too obvious to tell. I found out that the levels of lessons which children were taught relies on their ages. It gets harder each time they were able to advance a year. They didn't have a specific name for their school nor they consider it as like that. It was like a part of their lives as Keriekos. They start learning magics by the age of ten and since it took six years usually for an individual to know all there is that should be learned, they finish at the age of sixteen. At that point of their lives, they decide what to do next.

Daniel being the first thing on the page was enough reason for him to take the book for himself. After some minutes, they reach the door leading to the general hall, Daniel pushes the door half way open, and then he spies making sure no one is around. When they are certain no one is around, they open the door and walk through. It’s all quite as no one is around, they shut the door, arrange themselves checking their clothes and shoes of any stains then with haste, they move heading for the banquet hall where the other students are.

Books are oxygen for the literate. For me, there's no other way to breathe. Breathing comes naturally to living organisms. For a nerd with a perfect attendance record and zero friends, air fills my lungs, and words fill my head. I like filling my head with facts, opinions, and fanfiction. Just three books out of all these eye-catching feasts before me? I wish I could buy the whole shelf because there were wide varieties of books also the books I wanted to read so badly which had been stuck on my wish list for years. I could see the Harry Potter series pocking out of the fantasy section; my all-time favorite book. But I had already read them back home so it's a waste of time. I also saw Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books to my left which excitingly was the crime and thriller section, I had almost read all of them too. I

For them, CMP felt less like a market and more like a small festival that never ended. Teenagers liked it even more. They came to hang out, to sit and read the latest novels and to lose themselves in stories that were no longer the same tired tales of noble heroes going to war while weak and sorrowful women waited endlessly at home. These stories were different. The worlds were wider, the characters stranger and braver in new ways, and the imagination behind them left teenagers starstruck. There were stories for children, for youth, for adults. All these stories that made people feel seen.

I deserved better, this stupid year was just kicking my ass. Assuring myself of this, I took a deep breath out, running a hand through my hair as I crossed the road, headed straight into the library, putting my phone into my jacket pocket. The town library was exceptionally big, not too large though, but I must admit could hold quite a lot of books as they were rows upon rows. I made my way straight to the books about fantasy creatures, realizing that they were surprisingly many. Young Adult fantasy is a thing...like a big deal, I noted reading through so interesting titles, but not the specific one I was looking for.

“Still sounds pretty dull compared to dragons and magic, though.” Sonia nodded because she was a bit relieved that the conversation was about to be steered back toward more safer and familiar literary territory. She then rattled off a list of fantasy recommendations for the kids for a while longer. Sonia and Darrell began walking back to the main event area where the bustling sounds of excited readers and rustling pages reigned supreme. “Age of Exploration is actually my favorite book too,” he said out of nowhere. “Really?” Darrell nodded, smiling, “Yeah, it's criminally underrated. I swear, I've never heard anyone else mention it before.”

Sebastian explained after seeing his glance. The sky was the limit when it came to the royal budget. Edward noticed that every book on the shelf was part of a full series and every book was in pristine condition. “Which series did you like the most?” he asked. Sebastian stood on tiptoes and pulled out a British teenage spy series. Edward also had the series. “I liked those as well,” he agreed. “What books do you like now?” “I like fantasy at the moment so I’m trying out different series,” Sebastian replied. “I haven’t found a particular favourite yet.”

She nods enthusiastically, then yawns. "Jennifer, you must not miss your sleep in your eagerness to read. You have all the time in the world. Come, I will show you the other books in the series." He leads her to the shelf labelled 'Fantasy' then reaches down for another volume. "What did you especially like about the story?" "Oh, everything! The children going to Narnia and the battles and Edmund being bad but then being sorry and being good. But I liked Lucy best. She's not pretty but she's so brave."
