Bible Verse For Exorcism Novels & Stories

The voice made me remember a verse our pastor used as a sermon in the bible the last time I attended the evening bible study that always takes place every Tuesday. I can recall the verse very well that says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Take therefore the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand, therefore, with your loins girt with truth and your breastplate of righteousness on. And with the preparation of the gospel of peace on your feet;

All emerging from the power of the words Marcus was reading from the book he brought out. "What's happening, why am heading out?" She asked nervously as she turned and observed the sunlight. "I invited you in, he's uninviting you out. They're old magic words used by exorcists. He's rendering the house inhospitable to the dead, to you. Father, the sun, stop!" He cried out shaking the shackles. "Jeremy, help me," she said softly in tears and finally got thrown out to the open. And she began to peal, her skin burning out of her bones.

It often calmed me down whenever the anxious thoughts took over. "Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti," I began with my palms pressed together. "Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux. Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux. Vade Retro Satana. Numquam Suadeas Mihi Vana. Sunt Mala Quar Libas. Ipse Venena Bibas. Per Christum Dominum Nostrum. Amen." "Amen," Enzo seconded with a slight furrow in his dark brows. We were still sitting on the bed and he looked confused when he faced me. "Latin?"

"I give unto you, power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Suddenly his smile hardened into something vicious and a darkness seemed to overcome his eyes. I felt like they were piercing my flesh, as if something just surfaced in him: something cold, lifeless, with a demeanor so perverse - possessing him. The flickering porch light was enough for me to see his eyes turning completely black. His face, words, and breath, even his voice deepened, monotone and ominous. "Notwithstanding in this, rejoice not that the spirits are subject unto you."

“Do you know how many souls, how much strength that has gifted me? You must know I can control the hearts and minds of your every enforcer—” The former priest kicks his way free of the weakened, necrotic grip of the demon’s current host. The second that strangle hold stops cutting off his breath, the Latin verse starts rolling from his lips. “Omnis incursio infernalis adversarii, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica. Lustra! Lus—”

"In Jeremiah 30, verse 17, he says he will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord." "Deuteronomy 31:6 also says that we should not be afraid or terrified because of them, because the Lord your God is with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you and according to Mark 10:27, Jesus glanced at them and remarked, 'With man, it is impossible, but not with God' For with God, anything is possible, so why don't you lean on Him? Things may not be going well for you right now, but strive to find peace within yourself and you will enjoy your time here on Earth."

I remembered the room bathed in a blue light, the air crackling with energy as Meredith chanted the ancient spell to expel him. Gaius's voice echoed in my mind; a sinister snarl filled with malice. "You think you can get rid of me so easily? I will not go quietly!" Meredith's incantation grew louder, the words resonating with power. "Exire te praesens, anima maligna! Domum tuum relinque!" Gaius screamed a sound that seemed to vibrate through my very bones. I felt him being ripped away, like a dark cloud lifting. But in that final moment, he spoke words that sent a chill through my soul.

Phone in and tell us if you know. ‘Here is our Baltimore bible expert, Randy Nelson. Randy, tell us what the bible quote was.’ Camera swings to Randy, who looks more like a country singer than a bible expert. ‘Well, Todd, John 7:53, verses 8 to11, refer to the passage where the Lord forgives the adulteress. The unidentified woman tells us the Lord’s message “is shit”. Seems she has issues with the Lord’s decision. Jesus said, “Let he who is without sin, throw the first stone” She sure threw the first punch.’

"I've thought of that already. It's no big deal. I'll be fine anyway. We'll be fine, okay. Stay calm." I was quiet for a while. I had a bad feeling, my instincts weren't pessimistic about our stay there. I tried to distract myself but the silence wasn't helping. Then I remembered a verse I loved, from the bible that I even made into a song. Unconscious, I began to recite out loud. ✝ Psalms 91:5 "I shalt not be afraid of the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;

I was now back to the scene of the demon king laughing at me and my people still paralysed on the spot.
