My eyelids are so heavy as if they're weighed down by lead. I lift my hand-at least, I try to. But it's too damn heavy. It takes everything in me just to move my fingers. Try harder. Summoning every bit of willpower I have left, I force my hand up to my face. The moment my fingers brush against my skin, something shifts. With one final push, I wipe my eyes, and-boom. My eyelids suddenly give way, peeling open with effort. Blinding light greets me, and I blink rapidly as my surroundings come into focus. Confusion tightens around my chest.

"It's very faint, it looks like he's dead." I suddenly felt a bit anxious. I leaned in and lifted his eyelids. Not sure if it was just my imagination, but it seemed like his eyeballs moved. I looked at the other eye in confusion. Then I realized, that eye was actually open, with a cold and clear black-and-white iris staring at me.

His brain projects the dim room filled with water and his eyes flutter. Meanders to the balcony and slides the glass door open. Cool air dries the sweat on his exposed torso. Hands clutched on the handrail, he breathes hard, heart pounding. His nose flickers when excessive air enters. A glimpse of the emerging morning sun illuminates darkness. He paces into the bathroom, stripps off his shorts and steps into the transparent shower. Water escapes from the wide, squared, lucent LED shower head. He lifts up his head and water splashes over his face.

And the Unexplainable thing happened as I was staring at those red eyes the new tattoo on my neck started to tingle. I ran my hands on the mark at the sensation; it may be my imagination, but I think the brightness of those eyes increased a bit. Okay, that's weird. How can that be possible? I try to concentrate on looking into those lights to identify what that is. My eyes start to sting because of the strain from looking at it without blinking for a long time. When I blink them once, it doesn't even take a second, but the red lights are gone. And the window is closed.

My head jerked up in astonishment. A gasped left from my mouth as Kimberly 's eyes moved under her eyelids . Was my eyes deceiving me or that really happened? I blinked a few times but I saw the movement again.Her eyes slowly flattered open.She closed them again.After recovering from the initial shock I jumped on my two feet and stumbled back but caught myself in mean time.

“I'm not trying to kill you.” “You are too close,” I said before I could stop myself. Her eyes flicked up to mine. For a second, something unreadable passed through them. Then she smiled. “That is kind of the point.” I swallowed. She moved on to my brows, brushing them up with a small spoolie. “You have good brows,” she noted. “We won't overdo it. Just shape a little.” “Is it necessary?” I asked. “Do you want Bobby to notice you blink?” she said.

I rolled my eyes tiredly, wondering if he even remembered the blinking rule for affirmation. "Tell me, did you get it wrong the first time? Blink twice if yes," this time, I carefully gave my instructions, and he immediately blinked twice. It felt odd, or maybe he was telling the truth. Perhaps he did mishear the first time. "Okay! Why don't you want me to help you shower and change your clothes?" I leaned over him, my hands behind my back. "Is it because I make you uncomfortable?" I asked, knowing he understood the rule of blinking twice for yes and once for no. He blinked once.

Brynn said flatly. Amerie took out her phone. Half of her right eye had turned back to hazel. She tried to hide her shock, but a glance at Brynn proved there was no point Still, she pretended to look under her lower eyelid for the imaginary contact lens. “Oh, weird. I didn’t even notice—“ “Hello, pup,” Brynn smirked, Blaze mirroring her expression. Their fingertips flowed with a faint purple aura. “We’ve been waiting for you.”

I don't understand why do you have to keep yourself cold when you are already done with the prank. "Should we just sleep all day and set the supposed plans for today to tomorrow?" I was expecting you to remain silent as I thought that you were indeed asleep on my shoulders, but I'm quite surprised to see you open your eyes in an instant, right after you heard the question. I couldn't help, but laugh once more with how small were your eyes look. Your brows are slightly raised, as a thin line of hole appeared in your eyes, trying so hard to open them and keep them that way which caused you to blink many times tardily.
