Trembling and bleeding profusely, Aaric stood leaning against the car that had been hit by him, making the five vampires frown. There were not many soul- possessors that they knew, some even have never seen this type of creature at all, therefore they did not know the extent of the creature's strength. "He is still alive?" one of the vampires muttered, looking amazed at the state of Aaric who was still able to move.

"He's mine!" the rogue vamp yelled through gritted teeth, his glowing green eyes boring into mine. Then, he hit me in the chest with his fist, sending me flying into the parking lot, as I slid across the hard pavement, trying to regain consciousness. He was definitely one of The Others, rogue vamps who didn't care about human life. Having completely lost their humanity, they cared for nothing more than self gratification and the kill. "Hey, you're pretty!" he said with a half smile as he started toward me, arms outstretched, grinning seductively.

Blood painted the walls and floors in a macabre tapestry, the once grand chandeliers casting eerie shadows over the lifeless forms. In the center of it all stood a figure, tall and imposing, his hands and clothes drenched in the blood of those who had fallen. It was Noah, the prince I had come to protect, the man I believed to be my mate. Around him lay the remnants of what had been his opponents, their lifeless eyes staring blankly at the ceiling, their final moments etched in terror and agony.

Due to a large amount of fresh blood, Charles not only turned into a blood man, but the surroundings were also stained in red due to the explosions of the sword lights that formed thick blood mist. Bang! The sword lights' abominable power was like a heavy punch, slamming Charles down again. Both Charles's head and legs faced the sky, whereas his abdomen slumped, and he appeared like a bow as he smashed the ground into a human-shaped pit. Then, the gaps in the pit and the cracks around it were filled with the blood pouring out of Charles's body instantly. At first glance, Charles seemed to be immersed in a human-shaped blood pool.

Blood soaked the earth, and the wounded lifeless bodies littered the ground in the wake of the ongoing battle. It is unsightly. Some rogues die without being able to defend themselves. It was a carnage. Killing the nearly dead is not a victory nor a display of bravery. They killed the defenseless. After a few minutes of fighting, the number was reduced to four. Eight rogues have fallen without a fight and what remains were slumped to the ground, wetting the soil with their blood. Forced to shift back to their human forms. Bodies were bruised, bones were cracked, a thick crimson fluid gushing through their ripped flesh, quickly paling their skin. Fighting.

Blood splattered across the floor, a gruesome testament to the brutality of the act. I continued to unleash my wrath upon Lucifer, my fists flying in a flurry of punches and kicks that left him reeling. His nose, once a proud and haughty feature, now bled profusely, its delicate cartilage shattered by my relentless assault. His lips, once a thin line of disdain, now hung in tatters, a bloody mess of torn flesh and broken bone. I couldn't help but revel in the sight of his suffering, my own anger and frustration fueling my actions. With each blow, I felt a sense of catharsis wash over me as if I were purging myself of the pain and anger that had been building inside me for so long.

They didn’t cover their faces like all the ones attacking him, instead displaying their unearthly facial features like they came out straight from a romace film. However, their actions weren’t like the princes from any romance film at all. Vicioualy, they slayed all the criminals dead like they were born to do so. They are gray, with large, stout, pitbull bodies, very little hair, and heads are round with tiny cauliflower ears, beady dark eyes, and puglike snouts. While I’m tearing through one, another jumps on my back, but before he can bite me, I flip him over my head and toss him into a nearby wall. My vision blurs as I continue to fight the endless amounts of hellhounds that keep coming through the door. It’s a bloody siege, and I’m in the middle of it. Taking a couple of steps back, I cover my bleeding wounds and continue to fight. Blood and gore decorate the walls and floor until you only see dead hounds.
