Book Lost Moon Novels & Stories

Maybe I can find something about this ritual. In the few hours I spent looking, all I could find was that a Luna must be alone in the woods and her alpha is to find her. Their bond is then confirmed and they can mate. There is nothing in there about Blood Moon Alphas or if the Luna was already marked and they had already mated. I guess I will have to treat this as if I am in Girl Scouts all over again. I am lying in bed when I get a text. ‘Sugar, I can’t sleep. I have been thinking about how I acted tonight. I was an idiot.’

“There might be an answer hidden inside the forbidden book.” Without waiting for the board members to dismiss the crowd, the four of us quietly slipped away from the field. We hurried across the courtyard and ran straight to Eileen’s dorm room. The moment the heavy wooden door shut behind us, I rushed over to the small desk. I pulled out the book from its hiding spot and tossed it onto the mattress. I sat down and began to flip through the weathered, yellowed pages immediately, my fingers searching for any mention of the glowing dome. Finally, my eyes landed on a section containing faded illustrations of a fractured crescent symbol. It was a part in the book that explicitly talked about the

Just as we were throwing claws, blood filling our clothes as they tore through, Moon came down running towards me and like a golden opportunity to tame me, she grabbed Moon and used her as cover holding her sharp claws close to her throat, I shifted back into a human form, "Let her go?" I demanded with pleading eyes. She pulled her along, throwing her claws into the air and about to smash them against her skin, the light in the room went off and everyone became bothered, that was strange, but not eerily similar to her bring slaughtered, gifted by the moon goddess, I was at a huge advantage, I quickly snapped Moon out of her hand, and darted for the door, like as fast as my leg could take me

The better" I watch helplessly as Megan starts What ever ritual she's about to do . I pray silently to the moon goddess for my mate to find me . "Only a few minutes until the blood moon ,"She smirks . She has a large book that is probably bigger than my head . I look at her as she opens the first page . It’s warm, pulsing softly. Lena walks in, carrying an old book wrapped in cloth. “I think I found something,” she says, sitting across from me. “This book is from the hidden library in the mountains. It belonged to the Moon Priestesses.” She opens it slowly, the pages yellow and cracking. Her finger stops on a page with a drawing…an exact copy of the mark on my arm. “The Mark of the Lost Moon,” she reads. “It appears only to those touched by both light and shadow. It’s the mark of a bridge. A soul who can walk between two worlds.” I blink. “What does that mean?”

**** Pov: Lupa. The forest is heavy with mist, the full moon cutting through the haze like a blade. I kneel on the damp earth, my knees sinking into moss, hands pressed to the ground as I whisper prayers to the Moon Goddess. It’s been years since I’ve felt her call this strong, a pull in my bones that drags me from my bed in the Nightshade compound. My silver hair hangs loose, catching the moonlight, and my breath steadies as I offer my heart to her guidance. Ember, our Luna, is fierce but young, and with Rowan and Caelen in her care, I need wisdom to steer her right.

We turn at the same time to see Luka stepping out from the forest, his gold-tinted curls blowing about his face, his brown eyes wide with wonder at the sight of the river. He walks past, still not seeing us. Darius and I look at each other, then scramble up to follow him. Luka stops at the top of the river embankment. He passes his hand over his eyes. When he drops his hand again, he opens his eyes and they are a milky grey colour. The glow disappears from the sky and in the darkness a full moon rises. Not just any moon. I recognize this moon. So pale, so clear, it appears as if behind a layer of ice. The first full moon of the new year. The Wolf Moon.

“He’s clearly got you on drugs or something.” “That’s ridiculous. I’m completely sober.” “Are you, Camille? I should give you a test or something.” He checked out the other books. More vampire romance? Where were the werewolves? He saw none. “Wrong,” Dire grumbled. Don’t worry. We’ll get her proper books. Maddox browsed more of the vampire books and realized that they all had the same author. Grace Moon. That was an interesting name.

It had been hours, more , accurately, it was morning, the moon had finally bid the sky goodbye and welcomed the hot sun that splashed a faint orange rays across the tiled floor. My gaze sweeping through the pages, yet nothing. Nothing about this relates to My Scar. Wolves who shifted on a non-full moon night were mostly weak ones, but she was on the full moon, late-bloom wolves are the strongest, and yet her wolf was weak. I rustled out a sigh, my gaze flicked to my phone. 9:21 am. I stood, grabbed my phone and walked out of the library, but not without putting the book back onto the shelves, making sure no one knew what I had been reading.
