Books In My Library Novels & Stories

he gave me a small smile and I nodded in return. I left him sitting on the floor, at the encyclopedia corner. We both knew what our goal was, we were not going to stop until we completed it. I guess there was something in common between Beta and Iota after all, their drive. I headed toward the Literature corner, searching for books at the isle of fiction. Our library follows the Dewey Decimal System, so I headed towards CAN. There were four shelves of books dedicated to authors with the surname starting with CAN. I heard myself sigh; this was going to be such a long search.

I stood up taking his pile of books and walked to the library. Once I returned the books, I started searching for the books on the list he gave me. Among the seven books, three of them were Mathematics textbooks, one was a history book and the last three were thriller novels. Luckily all the books were there in the library but it took me almost half an hour to find all the books.

Cobalt gestured her hand at the library section as she was already walking toward it. Matthew followed her. There were three shelves that had two sides and were filled with books regarding various topics, or at least one shelf was. That shelf had books regarding magic, medicine, religion, biology, chemistry, and other medical topics. While the other two shelves were filled with novels, comics, and such. “Do you read entertainment books? I’ve heard that people from your realm like them very much.” “I used to, but I haven’t ever since the incident a year ago. There were so many of them that it’s hard to find a new and fresh plot.” Matthew answered while looking at the titles on books’ spine. T

Anything to drown out the thoughts I wasn’t ready to face. The library seemed as good a place as any. The space was cavernous, the kind of room that could swallow you whole if you weren’t careful. Shelves stretched from floor to ceiling, packed with books that looked like they hadn’t been touched in decades. I traced my fingers along the spines, letting the feel of the leather ground me. Most of the titles were unfamiliar—business texts, histories, and biographies of people I’d never heard of. But when I crouched to check the lower shelves, one book caught my attention.

The library was dusty, full of cobwebs that reminded me of old and abandoned houses. Ripped books can also be found on the corners. Rats are everywhere. Cockroaches and spiders are hiding under the pages of these leathery books. But beyond all this dust and age, I feel at ease. I took a few books with me. Most of it are chronicles of the past, mathematics, astronomy and the like. I was so indulged with every page that it took me a while to realize that my mentor just entered the room. I stood from my seat, and greeted him. Behind him was my Master, hiding his sinister smile.

Stepping into the vast expanse, I was greeted by the scent of old books and the hushed whispers of fellow seekers of wisdom. The library was a labyrinth of shelves, each filled with countless tales waiting to be devoured. I navigated through the maze, my fingers gently grazing the spines of books, as if seeking a connection with the stories within. The soft glow of reading lamps cast a warm ambiance, creating pockets of tranquillity amidst the bustling world outside.

Even now I keep hoping that on my walk to the library I will meet up with her. I got there and looked around at the books we recently bought and it was a lot of them. Its annoying that there are so many books in the world but I cant even find the one that will help me. So every single book in here is useless, all these millions of books in this library are useless. I heard someone running around the library but didn’t pay attention to them. Mark will tell them to leave and why would I care about some kid running around. Suddenly someone pulled me towards them.

Melinda's and Kieran's sharp, piercing eyes, scanned the endless rows of books. Zora led them around the library, pointing out the different sections and genres. There were books on philosophy, science, art, and history, each one meticulously cataloged and arranged on the shelves. The titles were written in elegant calligraphy, and the bindings were richly adorned with gold leaf and embossed lettering. Kieran and Melinda were overwhelmed by the sheer size of the collection, and they couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer amount of knowledge that was contained within these walls.

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

" I say, giving him a beaming smile as he turns to look at me, shocked. "Well, I'm glad I've sparked interest in you." He gives me a wide grin. "We have books in the library, along with several scrolls speaking of her." "I've actually come upon this topic before." I mentioned. "At school, there was a book titled "Tigris Surge". Have you ever heard of it?"
