Bella is really going to benefit from someone who is really laid back and able to calm her down. Challenge this week is going to be a bit different. Even if the road to revenge is dangerous and gloomy, I want to walk it one step at a time. I had returned from the royal library with my arms full of books that I planned to read all week. My haven was the library, where I could bury myself in a never-ending supply of information and tales. Additionally, it was there that I had just discovered an odd, secret book—one with secrets I was eager to reveal. Excitement and intrigue flooded my head as I walked back to my room. I was eager to start reading the new books I had obtained. Still, my reverie was cut short when I saw something unexpected.

He took a deep breath, and tried to relax back on the chair so that he could be focused on the book he was reading. After a while he was already so tired of reading the book. He wished he could just stand up right now and go and do something else, but that's really not possible, because there was really nothing for him to do right now, so he just has to remain there in the library. “I won’t be home, dear, but go ahead. You know the library’s always open for you.” I hesitated for a beat, that polite pause where doubt tries to whisper, stay home, don’t drive, just rest. But I ignored it. I needed the quiet comfort of old pages more than I needed air. When I arrived at the villa, the staff greeted me with their usual warmth, smiles that reminded me not everyone wanted something from me. I returned the old books carefully, letting my fingers brush against the spines before picking new ones that called to me. Titles about love, loss, and rebirth. And finally… let go and start fresh. I was sitting in the middle of the empty room on the floor after Adam had just walked out the remaining members of the crew and people who had volunteered to come over and help move the boxes of books into the school's basement, looking through the big windows overlooking the parking lot, something I knew I wanted to keep when the new library would be completed, some sort of focal point where you could look outside and get lost inside a daydream. “Are you meditating or something?” I heard Adam speak before he came to sit right next to me, handing me over a bottle of beer. Sitting so close that his shoulders nearly touched mine.

A few minutes later Jacob walks into the room in his usual sweatpants and shirt. "I brought the book back," I said, standing up. I hand it over to him and he takes it. "Did you read it?" He asked flipping through the pages presumably to look for bookmarks. "Of course and I loved it- no sorry I lived it," I responded with a smile on my face. I can't believe I read a book with more than 300 pages. I have never pictured myself doing that but It isn’t a choice anyway, I had to do it because of Jacob. I need him to spend time with me so I can crack all the holes in this house but aside from that, I did enjoy the book.

“Yeah… Animorphs and Goosebumps in elementary school do not a reader make.” “Hey, those are quality pieces of literature!” I declare. “Says who?” “Says me!” I huff, crossing my arms. “And I’ve read other books too! I like Stephen King and Michael Crichton and Neil Gaiman and—“ “Okay, okay,” he surrenders, lifting his hands and cutting me off. “Seriously, though, why are you going to the library?” “I’m going to do some research.” “For what?” “New training methods.
