Bubbling Feeling In Heart Novels & Stories

(Trigger warning⚠️⚠️: panic attack) I can feel my heart racing, my breaths coming too fast and shallow. Everything around me feels like it's closing in, suffocating me. The fluorescent lights overhead are blindingly bright, and the sound of water running is becoming overwhelming. I can feel sweat gathering on the back of my neck and the palms of my hands.

She was probably thinking what kind of a mother was I to not remember my baby's gender. Well, nurse. I would if I knew. "It's a boy?" I asked her again. My blood went rushing to my head when she bobbed her head in a sharp yes. Unless I was experiencing an episode of sudden cardiac arrest, why the bloody hell was my heart beating so loudly? I could feel it all the way up to my throat, thudding against my ribcage. I could even hear it through all the monitoring devices in the room. This is not normal.

I watch him sit up on the bed looking at me like I have grown two heads. "Who are you? And….. what are you doing in my bed?" I ask him quickly and stammer a bit. Because of the hangover, my brain is hazy now. I can't collect anything about this guy. But, My heartbeat is fast. Beating ten times faster than its normal speed. I'm feeling like I'm going to get a heart attack soon. Why is it acting like this? What happens to my heart? I watch him shuffle off the bed and walk in my direction.

[Eddie POV] I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off about me. It was as if a heavy weight was pressing down on my chest, making it hard to breathe. I tried to brush it off, but the feeling only grew stronger. "What's going on? Am I sick?" I whispered to myself, confused by this unfamiliar sensation. It wasn't pain, but it felt like my heart was fluttering constantly. "Do I have anxiety?" I wondered, whispering quietly to myself.

What is this Im feeling? My heart feels like it's about to beat out of my chest, my hands becoming clammy, and a thousand butterflies feel like they're swarming my stomach. I chalk it up to motion sickness. Yes, that's it, that's all it is. I couldn't possibly love Axon; that's just crazy. We stare off into the sunset, neither of us speaking a word. I look over, and Axon seems to be fidgeting in his pocket. I clear my throat, and he looks up. Axon is giving me a look like a child who's caught his hand in the cookie jar. He pulls whatever he's carrying in his pocket out and tries to kneel.

Her heart was pounding faster not understanding what was going on. “Is it just my imagination,” she whispered, stepping back. But as soon as she turned around, she felt something. She couldn’t explain it. It was a strong pull deep inside her chest like someone was near her. She held her hand to her heart and leaned on the wall. “What is going on recently with me ?” She closed her eyes tightly. The feeling only lasted for a few seconds, then, just like that, it disappeared. Gabby tried to catch her breath, her hands were shaking from fear.

I whisper, trying to create a sense of safety amidst the tension. Even though I was telling her to relax, it felt like I should be telling that to my own heart instead. It was pounding intensely, each beat resonating through my chest with alarming force, as if it were a ticking time bomb on the verge of exploding. The rapid thumping was so relentless that I could feel the blood rushing in my ears, heightening my sense of worry.

My breathing had become heavy with my heart pounding fast. My arms were trembling and there was some kind of bizarre uproar in my belly. No, it wasn't butterflies in my belly. I could feel a rumbling and churning in my guts but it also definitely didn't seem like hunger. Or maybe it was hunger after all, hunger for something that's not food.

“I can't breathe. God, I can't breathe.” My chest suddenly tightens, and I gasp as if someone has wrapped a hand around my ribs. I drag in a breath, but it doesn't feel like enough. I try again, faster this time, and that only makes it worse. My heart pounds so hard that I feel every beat in my throat. My fingers begin to tingle, then go numb, and my knees weaken beneath me. No. No, no, no. I know this feeling.

I was simply unable to. However, it all suddenly began to feel like I was a ball on the field because in every direction I ran, there was always another image running to me. I'd stop and turn, running only to see another one running towards me. My heart was no longer in my chest. It was in my throat beating heavily there. To be precise, my whole body seemed to be vibrating with my heart's thunderous beating and I began to wonder if I was going to die of whatever they were going to inflict me with or if I was going to die from a heart attack.
