Destiny woke up in her bed. It had been a year since she had the talk with Missy and everything had been smooth sailing after she was accepted into the pack. Today was a stressful day for her, though. Last night, she found out her father was going to be coming and she didn't want to see him. She was afraid to face him after what happened. It had been almost four years since she saw him last. Destiny offered to take her to Sea Cave Pack for the day and let her relax on the beach while she was with Kellie.

Destiny doesn’t look at me but she responds, “My decision to leave this pack hasn’t changed. It never did. Punishment is what bound me here, but if staying in the packhouse causes me too much pain, then I’d rather move somewhere I can have peace. The council’s decision isn’t being disobeyed this way.” We stay in silence for a second but I push back, "So what’s going to happen to Jack if you move out then? After a while of just laying with him we got up and got cleaned up. I then started packing all my belongings together to take with us. Vince was the Beta for his pack and the Alpha couldn't be more please that Vince had found his mate.
