Love, Vogue and the CEO
When she leaves, I climb onto the bed, and snuggle into Ace’s good side and fall asleep.
Fingers caress my arm the next morning and I open my eyes.
‘Good morning, Miss Summers,’ Ace says, croaky, and tired. I sit up, burst into tears, and wrap my arms around his head, pulling him to my chest.
‘I missed you too,’ he whispers.
‘I’m so happy you’re going to be okay,’ I cry.
‘I’m never going to leave you, Zurielle,’ he says, wiping the tears from my face. I lean in and kiss him, and rest my head on his chest, while holding his hand.
