I looked around and saw a tall, muscular guy with dark hair walking out of the shadow. I recognized him. He was the captain of the school football team, a blazing sports star that was famous across the country, playboy number one, and practically a male whore. Lucas Sigler. He was wearing a tailored suit, which fit him perfectly everywhere except the part of his upper arms. It took me a while to figure out that Lucas Sigler was actually talking to me because he walked straight at me in front of everyone. "You..." He lowered his head and stared at me, looking intense.

He stared at Taiga as if searching for the trick in his voice, the hidden motive. After a long beat, he blinked away fresh tears and gave a small, shaky smile. “Are there… any other members?” he asked softly. “Not that it matters. I just… I’d like to know.” Taiga’s lips tugged into a faint smile. “Tatsuya and Rin. My brother. My captain. That’s my pack.”

Not only was the captain able to foil one attack, he dealt with the other one as well, erecting an earth wall - proof that he was now an above-mortal realm wielder.

Kit said as she thought of the idea of two of him running around. “The boys are going to be the same way,” Mitsuhide said as he laughed. “Of course, they will have you to calm them down.” “Who said I would be the one calming them down? They are Akechi’s, so they will be a headache regardless. I think I will be the one to teach them how to climb trees and jump over rivers.” Kit said with a laugh. “I am not going to be the one with all the headaches. I want to have fun too.”
