Elaine looked up and glanced over her shoulder to watch the foreign customer complaining to the bar manager who was also trying his best to give explanations over and over again. AS SOON as Tan arrived at the modern contemporary bar around Makati Avenue, he immediately looked for a spot where he could park his car. This place was considered as his and his brother's hideout every time he would come home from America. The bar has a luxurious interior design. It’s not every day you find sofas in a bar and the bar top was made for the comfort of anyone sitting on them while drinking. The glass case behind the sofas and shiny bar top was… wow. My eyes dug through so many exquisite and exotic whiskeys, vodka, and an abundance of tequila that were just as expensive as my mom’s gold jewelry.

She hurries to keep pace with me. Maybe there are other clubs, but this one has a good vibe and a good group of people that I’ve already started to sort through. This one flashed with modern designs with a dim-lit interior that was perfect for New Yorkers’ vibe. I smiled shyly. “Yes, a Phoenix’s princess, please,” I swore his lips curled into a smile, then nodded and mixed my drinks. He expertly mixed it as if he could do even his eyes were closed. “You don’t come here often, do you?”

She asked in astonishment which only caused him to grin. "And your name- " he continued, "Tequila." He gave her a smile, taking a swig of the alcohol beside her, slunged his bags over his shoulders, and walked into the dark. She hefts it easily, but once it’s on the bar top, she furrows her brow a little and her hand goes to her back.
