I started coughing because the air was blocked by the snacks inside of my mouth. I spit the crackers. Gio rapidly gets water on the fridge and he poured it into a glass. After it, he strikes my back while I am drinking.

Sipping the juice, I relished each drop, allowing its taste to anchor me in the present, if only for a fleeting moment. Turning my attention to the bag of hot chips, I carefully tore it open, the crinkling sound punctuating the room's stillness. "Ocean bro, we are in the air, are you two hungry?" Acres banging on the door brings us back to earth. Desert shoves me off her and growls "You pig" Chuckling I yell back through the door "I'll be there in a sec mate" before turning back to my mate and taking in her flushed appearance
