Then shook her head. “That’s not important right now. What is important is that Cinderella needs to get home before the clock strikes midnight. Let’s go, let’s go!” Gianna giggled again, and just like that, they were playing. Laughter bubbled from the hallway, echoing softly into the rest of the house.

Her eyes gave him a sorry look, but he just shrugged at her as if to say everything was okay. “Come on, I’ll help you down,” he said as he gave his hand out, leading her down to the window again.

Daddy left with Uncle Zuko late morning. So now, I had some alone time with Mommy. Gosh I loved girl time with her!
