Dad walks to the centre and starts the ceremony. Just as we both make the small cut on our palms the light of the moon comes through the large skylight in the ceiling. It illuminates the two of us as we press our hands together. I feel something weird surge through my body. When I open my eyes and look at my angel I see her eyes are glowing. The whole place erupts with cheers

Oh my God! I have to go to work! I frantically searched the room for my watch which I found sitting on the nightstand. The time read 2:15pm meaning I have 45 minutes to get to work. I took my backpack which I found at the corner of the room and dashed out of the room trying to find the exit. How am I even supposed to find the exit in this huge house- correction, mansion. "What the hell are you doing?" A voice behind me said. I turned around to meet the face of the man I met this morning. I think his name was Theo or something.

She began gathering clothes as the Angel towered over Xavier, sniffing him. “Stop!” She screamed causing Xavier to look confused. “I’m not doing anything.” He protested. “Just get out so I can get dressed.” Xavier held his hands up while walking out of the room. She sighed looking deadly at the Angel. “Who are you?” She asked in a much lower tone. “I’m Gabriel, God’s warrior, one of the many carriers of souls.” “Well Gabriel, whatever,” His eyebrows rose at her clear disrespect. “I have a job to do so just go away and let me focus.”

His smile grew into a smirk, "No need to tell me Angel. I already know." I scoffed and then gasped, "Oh no! My mom is going to kill me, what time is it?" I asked him, my eyes wide with panic. He looked at his watch before glancing at me, "Ten minutes before six." "Nooo... why must this world hate me? I still have to get ready!"

Ace’s POV I got back home in the middle of the dark, and headed straight to bed. Angel was still sleeping peacefully, and I snuggled beside her, then held her into my arms as I listened to her rhythmed breathing. On the other hand, my racing thoughts didn't give me the privilege of getting to slumber, so I watched into the phantasmic sunrise amidst the dark, raging clouds. Around 7am, Angel regained consciousness. She didn't say a word, she just stood from my numb arm's rest, and disappeared into the bathroom.

He would make it a better place for the unwanted and make a home for himself. Laurent was a stubborn Angel and he would make an even better Fallen.
