they scurry away like startled mice. More Hunters emerge from the truck, spilling out like clowns from a clown car at the circus. Seven in total, each one looking more stern and serious than the last. A couple of them lug stretchers from the back of the truck and carefully load up the battered and bruised Hunters. One of the newly arrived Hunters catches my attention. Let's call him Mr. Aura, because, well, he's got this formidable aura surrounding him like a force field. His eyes sweep over me and the destroyed yard, taking in the scene with a keen, assessing gaze.

She bit her bottom lip, afraid of what his answer would be. “I honestly don’t know, Love. I’ve exhausted a lot of resources, but there is nothing on them. No dental records. No missing persons’ reports. Although I do have a theory…” This piqued her interest as her weary eyes started to shine brightly again. “And that would be…?” He placed his hands on either side of her face,capturing her attention. “I think they were Hunters. It would explain quite a bit…” Claire interrupted, “What exactly is a Hunter?”

Staring down at the bound, gagged, and now hooded figure, I get a creepy-crawly feeling all over my body. “Don’t ask questions if you don’t want the answer,” Clifton growls at me before slamming his fist into the side of the hunter’s head. I watch as the body and chair topple over to the side. A small oomph comes out of the hunter’s hood before he starts snoring. “Clif,” I say, turning to him, “get on the phones. Be discreet but ask the question around. I don’t want to spook the whole fucking world.”

Everyone hisses after about ten hunters appeared bringing different types of deadly weapons. “You are right about that, Clark.” John Doe breathed out. “What are you doing, John Doe?” I breathed out. John Doe grinned at me. He stretched his arm to his back and pulled his crossbow and loaded it with some arrows. “It’s nice to see you too, Clark. We meet again. We are here to hunt those who hunt us.” “What are you talking about? We didn’t do anything to you and your group?” Laura hissed. All of the werewolves kept growling and hissing, trying to hound John Doe and his accomplice but they seems enjoying the moment.

Declan's mouth watered as his eyes smiled at the food on the food cart. I don't know how the fuck he could be hungry with the whole place smelling like inside a rotting corpse. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up when I heard the carnival anthem playing. "Step right up! Step right up! Zombies and ghouls, banshees and golems!" A fat clown announced as his crooked lips fester into a frightening frown. We paused as he continued. "Step right up and try something new! That's right folks, we're tasting new things today." It pointed at us. I jumped to the side, making sure his nasty finger was pointing directly at Declan.

I put my arm over my stomach as I continued to howl with laughter. “What did they do to you guys?” “WE GOT GLITTER BOMBED! WHERE ARE THEY?!” I touched my lip, still giggling. “You got a little something there.” Gerald wiped at his lips furiously while Beanie scowled at me. “They put super glue and lipstick in a chapstick tube. Now the fucking shit won’t come off!” I shook my head. “Sorry, boys. They went into the bathroom. I think I heard the window open.”

When the man began talking, it felt like he was covering her body in warm honey. "I must apologize to you. I'm Alpha Gunnar of The Shadow Howlers. My head warrior showed me evidence that you had been kidnapping humans. When I looked closer at the evidence, I couldn't determine if what he said was true, so I wanted to do more investigating. Omar?" Alpha Gunnar looked at the warriors, and the large one in front stepped forward, his neck bare in submission. "Yes, alpha." He answered in more of a growl. "Why have you set out to destroy this pack?" Gunnar asked. However, it wasn't Omar who answered.

He was dressed in a tiny Red Ranger costume and rushing towards Tony. Tony has a child? I dodged him at the last possible second, cursing. “To the king!” Someone called. I almost laughed as people rushed the field, cutting through the hunters around us. A group cut a path to me and formed a shield wall around me, pushing back against the new wave of hunters. How many were there? Were they all just hunters, or were there other werewolves among them? I clenched my jaw as Cline lunged at a young woman. I set a bolt of lightning at him, striking him dead.

Her growl echoed through the trees and her eyes glowed brilliant green. As Kathleen thrust the knife down, Emory shifted into full wolf and slipped through her legs. With extraordinary speed, Emory shifted back to Hunter, digging her fangs into Kathleen’s throat as she turned. Kathleen tried to thrust the dagger into her back, but she parried it with one flick of her wrist.

Claura chirped, "Didn't you ask me? Why did you make such a decision for myself?" "Well, there's no need to scramble." Tom laughed. "We've got everything ready." Tom stood in front of him, and behind him were Cewi, Hockla, and Zona. In Cewi's hand was a thorn cage with enough of a person to sit, in Hockla's hand was a vast black mesh, and in Zona's hand was a long wire. Cewi proceeds to grab Henry and locks him in the cage, Hockla smiles badly and holds Claura, and Zona wants to capture Hana but is avoided by her.
