she murmured later when they lay together, panting, against the pillows. "Mmm. Best one I can remember." He kissed her deeply then lay back and laced his hands behind his head. "I've got a question for you. I found out this cottage is available for the next week. Since you're still on vacation, want to stay a little longer? I promise, Cora, I can afford it without a qualm." She blinked at him, breathless. She'd gotten so worked up about leaving tomorrow, but she really could only nod. This interlude was too magical for her to want it to end.

She went to a summer island, so the most that she brought with her were sunscreen lotion, a few pieces of her thinnest and easy to pack & carry summer clothes, her phone, and wallet. She scoffed and just shook her head, smirking at me as if she had so much power over me now. Coral Island was a deserted area, out of the sight of the local authorities of this country and a place that was very convenient to do some illegal activities. In the past, the early Mafia members used it to smuggle weapons and armour. Due to its secluded area, no one batted eyes at it, thinking it was just a useless empty land surrounded by the sea. Who would want to live there anyway? The landscape and scenery on that island were horrible too. It seemed like a haunted place, so no developer was interested to build a resort there.

The night breeze fanned her skin when she alighted from the yatch and they made their way to a beach resort on the island of Haling Cove. The resort had been a fabulous exquisite looking glass house which seemed portable and classy at the same time. The interior decor was modern and screamed finesse, vibrant colors decked the walls of the house; something which Marcellus's mansion at Ocean city lacked. The expensive house looked like one of those houses on Bondi beach or the resorts on the Maldives.

Now, they were finally ready to move on and let go of the past that once haunted them. Charles designed Coral's tail with all the things she loved in mind. Her favourite colours of orange and teal and an emblem of her favourite animal just above the right fin. Just like back then, the seahorse had always remained her favourite animal. Charles had programmed the DNA change to become active once Coral touched water so there was nothing left to do but head for the royal palace deep in the ocean.

A female appeared with long blonde hair, and suddenly I felt the pull of a transport. I blinked and we inhaled the wonderful scent of the ocean. Lilly’s wolf looked around, curiously. The blonde leaned down and kissed Tyson’s wolf. I guess that answers who she is. Coral began to move across the sand, enjoying the warm breeze. This beach … I knew it. *What’s the big idea,* Coral snapped. She turned back to face everyone. “This is where my love and I got married, isn’t it breathtaking? The owner lets us come back and use it sometimes,” the female said, a little too giddy.

Even though I had not smiled or reacted much to her stories, she understood from my eyes that I enjoyed seeing her talk. As I parked the car outside the garage of the cottage, her eyes grew wide and she mumbled, “Wow!” “I know,” I said as I got out of the car, nodding at the view in front of us. The cottage was moderately big, two storeys, standing on a rigid foundation with a large porch out front and a balcony on the second floor hoisted on high columns. The walls and floors were made of the best Brazilian hardwood and the roofing with cedar shingles. At the side of the wide entrance on the porch was a small seating area with a barbecue in one corner.

"I came all this way to Grand Coconut Wind Island and barely got to enjoy myself, all thanks to that scoundrel, Cloud Tiger!" Coral lounged by the hotel pool in her bikini, her lips pursed in a pout as she wallowed in the water, her face etched with frustration. "Let's just head back to Ol' Mare, cousin. Wasyl handling the coconut sales for us. Sticking around here is pointless." Alexander leaned against the edge of the pool, his eyes following Amber and Coral as they splashed and played, a faint smile playing on his lips. "We could head back to Ol' Mare, sure, but first..."

It was bliss. Then, we were in the shower as Brad was showering my hair and massaging my scalp as I was leaning against him in the tub. We were spending so much more time with each other and it was a paradise. Then, we went to the tourist attraction of the island. Brad booked us a tour of a cave that we will be sitting on the boat and we were looking at the cave with wonders before I saw something out of ordinary. “Honey?” I asked Brad as I was pointing at the sill and dike that was the same as the one that we saw on the site. We stared at each other before we headed back and afterword, Brad was asking for a private boat but I know what he was thinking.

"That's more like it. My queen recognising my superior strength." "Your queen recognising your superior stubbornness, more like," I retorted, but there was no heat in it. We made our way through the cottage toward the front door, Theo moving carefully to avoid banging his precious cargo against the doorframes. The cottage sat on a small rise overlooking the sea, with a winding path that led down to a private road where our car waited. Beyond that, steps cut into the cliff face descended to the secluded beach Theo had claimed was ours alone for the duration of our stay.
