Since summer was about to end, the drawings were all about autumn clothing, mostly trench coats and turtlenecks. “Okay, I’ll review these. After waiting in the line for more than ten minutes, both Tanya and Chris were finally able to buy the cotton candy. Chris led to a nearby bench where they both sat. “Take a bite.” Chris said to Tanya, who was busy looking at the cotton candy weirdly. “I will, but this thing doesn't really look edible. Are you sure it's okay to eat?” Tanya asked. “You really are one weird girl.” Chris said and took a bite from his own cotton candy.

Ally and I shared a look, and before she could say whatever she was about to say, Joey chimed in, “Well, I think we’re ready to move on, huh? What’s next?” Bless that boy. His words reminded me of the cotton candy, “Oh yeah, I know just the place!” I sang out and pulled on Sean’s arm. I led us back towards the cotton candy booth and luckily no one was in line. Sean offered to pay for mine and he was first in line getting me a pink cotton candy. Joey and Ally were next in line and Nick and Evan were just standing on the sidelines, still stone-serious. “You guys alright?” I asked them, eyebrows pressed in confusion.

Today is the day of the Candy Wonderland party to raise funding for the women’s shelter and the children’s hospital. The ole ladies and locals have really outdone themselves. There are big lollipops in various colours and individual candies decorated all around. Some hanging from the branches of trees and in the grass on display. There are huge ice cream cones, donuts, cakes, balloons with confetti that look like sugar strands, giant gummy bears, jelly beans that are little chairs. The place would give the witch from Hansel and Gretel a serious case of envy.

Demetrius growls, but I ignore him and hold his hands, dragging him deep into the amusement park. “Where the hell are you taking me to?" He asks, groaning. “To..to get some cotton candy!" I reply excitedly. “Cotton candy?" He repeats, he sounds like he doesn't know what it is. “Yes, cotton candy," I reply. We arrive at the cotton candy corner. “Two cotton candies, please," I order excitedly as I bring some bucks out of my wallet. “Don't worry, I will pay," Demetrius says as he brings out a bundle of cash and gives it to me.

A man was selling it and it remained about three and it was becoming night fast. "Do you want it?" Chris asked pulling over. "Yes, please!" I yelled and he rubbed my head. He walked out of the car to the cotton candy stand. I kept my eyes on him as he bought all three and came back inside the car. "Here you go." He said giving all three to me.

“You want to buy cotton candy?” “Yes, the biggest,” she said proudly. She wanted to have enough sugar to replace the bitterness of being married to a man she didn’t love. She didn’t say two anymore but the man remembered she had said two before, concluding that she was buying it for her groom but the idea had not crossed her mind. Picking sticks, he shoved them into the cotton candy machine which began to spin as rolls and rolls of sweet pink cotton wrapped around the stick, looking so huge that they were stuck together.

I said, pointing. Aiden shook his head. "I don't like the feeling of swing. It feels really dangerous." "So is mountain climbing, silly," Addison said, laughing. "Don't call your brother silly," I chided. "Can you get cotton candy?" Aiden asked pointing at a vendor. "Don't point," I held his hand down. Cotton candy. That was just pure and processed sugar. "I don't think so." I looked away. "How about some salad?" Addison made a gagging sound.

The blue and pink candy goodness make my mouth water as I watch the worker swirl them around and around. “You’re a sweetness fiend, aren’t you?” Nolan chuckles.
