“Wow!” Ahmed hissed. “You are the leader of our five,” He said, studying me again.
I held his gaze this time, noting his brownish-yellow pupils for the first time. There was no look of jealousy or envy on his face, just surprise.
“That’s good for us then, we gained another powerful hand to help in the fight against the cursed ones,” Ahmed added. “I think the great mothers are really looking favorably on us in this country. With this level of strength once that old Egyptian mummy falls we can compete for the supreme seat of C.A.W.”
