First Bite

First Bite

In the center of a cavernous chamber stood a solitary pedestal, and upon it sat a leather-bound book, its spine cracked and held shut by a network of silver thorns reminiscent of twisted vines. As Autumn stepped closer, curiosity and trepidation battling within her, the pendant lifted from her chest, glowing with an intensity that illuminated the chamber. Instantly, the silver thorns curled backward, withering like dried leaves struck by flame, and the book creaked open. Autumn held back, wary of touching its pages; instead, they began to turn of their own accord, gaining momentum in a magnetic display. The pages revealed a kaleidoscope of sketches, esoteric runes, fragmented notes in faded

Reclaiming My Broken Luna

Reclaiming My Broken Luna

Nova’s POV The library was silent, save for the occasional crackle of the fire in the hearth. A dozen open books surrounded me, their pages filled with old, faded scripts that blurred together in my tired mind. Liora’s journal lay at the center of it all, her precise handwriting guiding me through fragmented thoughts and cryptic hints. The Rogue King. The Forsaken Amulet. The medallion Rowena had presented at the council meeting. All of it pointed to a larger puzzle, but the pieces didn’t fit—not yet.

Can you all just stop talking shit about the writer please? Do you think it's easy to write a book? She's doing her best. And even if you have any problems with her writing, I think you should find something else to read, rather than discouraging her and other readers with your negative comments ....

This book is terrible. The story is just being dragged & same thing is repeated again & again. The ML is the most dumb & brainless Alpha I've ever read. Even his minions are smarter than him & the FL is just another doormat who keeps suffering in the entire book. She never grows a spine. Pathetic!!

“Stop being so dramatic, Miss Morgan. There’s no need to sigh that much. Read the book.” She glowered at him before she pulled the book open. And then she saw... Nothing. The book was blank. It was like a huge, ugly notebook. Why would anyone even make something like this? It looked old, and the leather binding had seen better days. There were some faded markings that she couldn’t quite read, but the words definitely didn’t spell out Textiles.

The billionaire's dangerous love

The billionaire's dangerous love

She brought out the book, it was thick and dusty and she dropped it on the table, she flicked them open in haste before stopping on the page she was looking for, the image of the crystal watch was printed boldly on it and below it were the words ' soul binder, it binds the powers of a soul shifter and it prevents people from detecting thier soul powers ' It was the only pair in the world, she knew it because Draco had made it himself, working tirelessly for years until it was successful. She tore out the page before placing the book in the shelf, she rose to her feet and she frowned in surprise when a piece of paper tumbled out from her dress, she unfolded it and to her surprise, it was writ

Surrogate Mother

Surrogate Mother

He sat on the dressing table chair and then touched Audrey's personal belongings. Daniel picked up Audrey's most used hairpin and thought about whether to take it to the hospital, as Audrey after the surgery would be uncomfortable to wash her hair and might need to cut her long hair. While hesitating, he accidentally saw a piece of cloth sticking out of the drawer. Daniel looked down and examined the contents. There was a knitted yarn and a small hand-knitted shirt. The shirt was unfinished. Audrey must have made it. As he was about to put it back, Daniel's eyes fell on a book in the drawer. He picked it up and frowned at the shape of the book.

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

My fingers brush over cracked spines until they stop on one bound in faded blue leather. When I pull it out, dust swirls in the air, making me sneeze. "The Lost Packs of the Northern Realms," I read aloud. The cover bears a strange symbol – a crescent moon wrapped around a flowering vine. "Careful with that one, dearie." The voice makes us both jump. An elderly woman with silver-streaked hair pulled into a severe bun peers at us from behind wire-rimmed glasses. "Those histories are delicate. And dangerous, some might say."

What Survived The Burn

What Survived The Burn

Then my gaze landed on the clasp—a large, oval garnet held in a silver setting, attached to a leather strap that wrapped around the book. My fingers brushed absently against the amulet around my neck. The one that had never left me. The one that burned like fire when I tried to take it off. "Maybe..." I whispered. Andy raised an eyebrow. "What’s up?" "I think the amulet and the book... they’re connected. Maybe they need to interact somehow. I can’t get it open." "There," Zerina’s voice again, clearer this time. "Look on the spine. A hidden pocket. Tiny. Press it."

CEO's Love in Trap

“Finish your breakfast and medicine, then change! Your clothes are in the closet. I'll open the door after the morning meeting is over." Gabriella's shoulders slumped limply. "I'm really locked up in this place?" After looking around, the woman finally made her way to the closet. But, when she was about to take clothes, her gaze was attracted by a box at the bottom of the wardrobe. "What is this?" Without thinking, Gabriella took it apart. Photo albums and books greeted immediately. "Is it Max's diary?" The woman took the brown bear picture book and examined it. Child's writing on the first page immediately provoked a smile.
