Jake crouches down in front of me, holding my chin up. "She's dead, my Grams is dead, she just died and left me behind. She fucking died and now I have no one. She left and now I have no family left what so ever. Everybody just leaves me. Everybody does, everyone I love just leaves me. She's dead and she's never coming back, because no one ever comes back for me. Even you didn't come back for me, no one does, no one cares. I'm not worth staying", at first, I am yelling, but then I break down and cry like hell, while my whole body is shaking .

She then felt her throat closing up as she tried to sniff back her cry, but she ended up choking on her sob as her face became red and scrunched up, and within less than two seconds, her eyes were bloodshot and puffy. “It hurts so bad, grandi.” Carmen stuttered while sniffing and rubbing her tears and snort. “That's it, kiddo. Let it all out. Grieving is the first step to healing because crying is not a sign of weakness. So cry it out and then refocus on where you are heading next.” Mr. Wilson said.

I screamed as I tried to squat, but I couldn't even bend my knees; tears dripped down my cheeks on their accord. “Mark my words, you'll regret this,” I muttered as tears kept dripping down my cheeks.

I felt utterly depleted, my will to live extinguished. Sinking to the floor, I surrendered to the tears that flowed unchecked. The ache in my heart intensified as I relived the cruel stripping away of all that defined me. A deep sorrow engulfed me, extinguishing the flicker of hope that had somehow remained. A soft knock on the door pierced through my grief, but I ignored it. Jackie persisted, knocking again. As the sobs resonated in the room, she entered without my permission. Her voice, gentle yet firm, cut through the silence.

"Get up. Stop crying." Adrain yanked his arm away, glaring up at him. "Stop crying?" he scoffed bitterly. "You think it’s that simple?" His eyes burned with unshed tears. "You tell me to stop crying, but do you even understand what I’m going through? Do you even have a clue what this feels like?" His breath hitched. "I feel like giving up." His voice dropped to a whisper. "I just want to die." His friend froze. His expression shifted instantly from frustration to alarm.

I felt like I was searching for something, but I didn't know what it was or where to find it. The tears kept flowing, streaming down my face like a river. I was crying for Bridgette, for the pain she had endured and the loss she had suffered. I was crying for myself, for the confusion and uncertainty that was plaguing me. And I was crying for something more, something deeper and more profound.
