My husband, Terrence Lawson, was a traveler between worlds. He wasn’t allowed to form relationships with the NPCs of each world. But he was quick to fall head over heels for me. When I was at the brink of suffering from a permanent breakdown, I remembered the secretive technique that Terrence had taught me that allowed me to communicate with him despite being worlds apart. After succeeding in forming a link with Terrence, I overheard his conversation with his mentor. "Terrence, how could you contact the villains and have them kidnap Quinn? Isn't she your true love?" Terrence's voice was awfully icy and resolute. "The female supporting lead, Yvonne Lynn, was supposed to be the one enduring the torment. I had no choice but to let Quinn shoulder this burden in order to save Yvonne's life. "Besides, Quinn is this world's female lead. She has the blessings of the Narrative, so there's no way any harm will come to her. "Once I'm done with this mission, I will be able to stay in this world forever. When the time comes, I'll make sure to make amends to Quinn properly." I was completely heartbroken at that moment. When I saw the villains approaching me once again, I completely gave up on fighting back.

Sebastian stood up and rushed out at once, his steps hurried and almost frantic. He never noticed that my prescription was missing a key herb. Just like that, the antidote that was supposed to save me became a poison that quietly sped up my death. That was when the Moon Goddess spoke inside my mind. In the fifth year of being Mrs. Cloud, my brother-in-law passed away. My mother brought people to block the door, and I was left to watch helplessly as my husband and my half-sister entered the bedroom together. "She's your sister. What's the harm in letting her have him?" I thought that my husband couldn't possibly do anything with my sister since she was family. I thought he would draw the line, out of decency, out of respect. However, as time passed, my heart grew cold. Only then did I realize that I was the only one who cared about this matter. While I clutched our daughter in my arms and cried in silent devastation, he was going at it with my sister.

"I reject you," Bruno repeated, his voice carrying across the hushed clearing. "We are no longer mates. We can never be mates." The warmth that had always softened his green eyes whenever he looked at her was gone, replaced by a glacial indifference that chilled her to the bone. "No. No." Lyra shook her head vigorously, her carefully arranged hair coming loose, dark strands falling across her tear-stained face. She reached for him, clutching at the ceremonial jacket he wore. "This can't happen. You promised to protect me, to be by my side, to love me." Her voice rose with each word, desperation clawing at her throat. "Please, don't do this to me. You can't."

“MATE!” Marion screamed excitedly. “Oh my gosh, Jimmy is our mate!” I was excited; happy even that this was the grande present the moon goddess had in store for me. The moment of shock only lasted for just a short while before I felt a great and unbearable. Clenching to my chest as I slowly fell to the ground, I watched as jimmy turned away from me without unfeeling, leaving me alone by the doorstep. I gasped as I struggled to make my way back to father but it was to no avail. I’d given up all will to struggle back to my feet and remain on the ground but a loud sound; like a Vaseline crashing to the ground behind me jolted me up. On getting to my feet and looking back, I saw father on the floor. Adding two and two together, I knew he must have seen Jimmy reject me and that had caused him to pass out. I’d immediately rushed over to his side, shaking him fervently, imagining the worst. “Father! Father, wake up!” But he didn’t budge and with that, I was left with no choice than to call the ambulance which brings me to how I got to this hospital. Today was my birthday, the day Jimmy rejected me, the day father passed out from shock, the day I would never forget in my life.

The new generation of wolves has befallen into a Curse System where everything they wanted to acquire; essentials, properties, leisure, transportation, and even a piece of sweet candy, will cost a portion of their time remaining on earth.
