The Mate He Hates

The Mate He Hates

Alpha Edward's POV The door opened, and Matthew stepped in, which made my brow furrow because I was surprised to see him arriving so early. “How are you, Alpha Edward?” Matthew asked as he stepped closer to me. “Are you okay?” he asked again, and I grunted. “I feel so terrible, Matthew. I feel worthless,” I spat with anger, my eyes settled outside the window. I hated my helplessness and wished I could just get off this fucking chair.

Happily Ever Mate

Happily Ever Mate

my mate into being outside. Once he saw the wolves out, I heard his father say, “My lad!” He bowed his front paws as his tail wiggled behind him, my mate ram to his father. The voice of his father had brought his childhood self to life. They wrestled for a while when we heard Leonidas's mother say, “Calm down boys, you to go eat your breakfast now before you keep on wrestling boys,” Leonidas stopped wrestling his dad to look straight at his mother. If my mate ever looked like a tiny little puppy that had finally found a home after being abandoned for so long, it would be in these moments, as he walked to her, I saw tears coming from his face, his mother licked his tears then moved to hug hi

SHUTDOWN MATE

SHUTDOWN MATE

{"Listen to me quickly. I want you to take down your mate block for now. Since we can't reach, let them feel our emotions for a little while so that they can know everything is not alright. Then deep into the fight, block it again." "That's a great idea. I'll do that now."} With that, I took down the mate block I had up and sent a first batch of emotions... a wave of panic, fear, and helplessness across. These were what I was feeling right now cause I don't know how two undertrained she wolves were gonna fight against three trained rouge assassins. I'm sure it's a mathematical equation for disaster and trust me, when my math I correct, I'm usually correct, cause I suck at maths.

The Alpha King’s Runaway Mate

The Alpha King’s Runaway Mate

“You have a mate, you do, even the prophesy said—.” “That my mate shall despise me.” King Mattel completed the sentence. “Tell me, Maria, is that not equivalent of not having a mate? Because how can I have a mate and yet it looks like I’m without one. And why is she already hating me without even knowing me? The prophesy is stupid.”

Mate to three, fated to one

Mate to three, fated to one

I looked up and my heart slammed against my chest when the earth started to shake and lighting and thunder accompanied the quake of the earth as Veilah's foot finally touched the ground. " What in the world is that hideous creature?" I asked feeling petrified when I saw several beasts landing from the portal and shaking the ground as they did so. " Those are kanareés and that simply means Death is imminent." Kimmel said and I shut my eyes in regret as I tried to think of what we did wrong to make her come at a time like this!

Mate to whom

Mate to whom

If there is one thing I hate, to hear is the sound of that chord, called the mating song, it reminds me, of the fact that I am the only girl, who hasn't got a mate and more than eighteen, I am nineteen already and all my friends already had their mate, each year, I felt that I could get a mate but it always ends in the same old story no one picked me. Do I have the right to complain, when my SHE itself must have forgotten me, wait, I didn't tell you, I have never shifted.

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

I could feel my heart sink as she spoke, a heaviness settling in my gut that was impossible to ignore. "Mates," she said, the word hanging in the air like a delicate thread, "means two people the gods themselves have deemed to be perfect for one another, two souls intertwined in a way that transcends mortal understanding. It's a connection that is said to be forged in the heavens, an unbreakable bond that pulls these two individuals together across time and space, across lifetimes. It’s a love that is supposed to be pure, untainted by the world's harsh realities. But that’s the thing—love is never that simple, and neither is the idea of a mate."

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

Frequently Asked Questions

Looking for 'Dasht e Maat' online can feel a bit like trying to find a specific, out-of-print poetry collection in a massive, disorganized library. The title itself suggests it's a Persian or Urdu work, which often adds another layer of complexity to the search because the digital availability of such literature in the original language can be quite scattered. My own attempts to locate it led me through a few different avenues, none of which were straightforward or guaranteed.

I started with the largest legal repositories, like Internet Archive and Project Gutenberg, since they sometimes host translated works or older texts in the public domain. No luck there with this specific title. Social reading platforms like Goodreads can sometimes have community uploads or links in discussion threads, but that's inconsistent and often leads to broken links or snippets rather than the full text. For a work like this, you might find mentions or analyses on academic or cultural blogs dedicated to Persian literature, which could point you toward a PDF or a scanned version hosted on a university server, but that's a real treasure hunt.

Another approach is to search for the title in its native script, using Persian or Urdu characters, on dedicated literary forums. Niche communities on platforms like Reddit or specific Facebook groups for South Asian literature occasionally share resources among members. It's important to be cautious here, though, as these unofficial sources can vary wildly in quality, completeness, and safety. The most reliable method would be to check if any official publisher or cultural institute has made it available digitally, perhaps through a service like Kindle or a regional e-book store, even if it's not free. My search ultimately didn't yield a clear, free, and complete source, leaving me with just fragments and references from literary discussions.
