"The book",Layla whispered. "It cut me" "The book?",Xavier asked bewildered. He turned and grabbed the book to scrutinize it. Layla's blood had dropped onto the stone and as he watched, the stone turned crimson red, with her blood trapped inside. "Even a book wants to take a bite out of you Tribrid",Hades suddenly said from the doorway. He had been standing there, observing the situation with his red eyes. There was a look of fury in his eyes, directed at the shadow warrior.
